I like Naruto, but does anyone else think his progress is a bit too much?

Do you think his progress is too much?

Yep, everything revolving around part 1 was a bit more Ninja-esqued.

Looking at part 2, seems to be like demi-goddish or goddish lol, they seems to be something more about it... it wouldn't make sense of what would come after? I hope everyone catches my drift. That being said, Naruto is that case if he becomes the SO6P, what will he become afterwards?

his progress makes perfect sense to me,after meeting jiraya he was all about trying to control kurama's chakra,he tried but failed most of the time, because he was doing it wrong also the fact that power was resisting him and hindering his growth, and neither him nor jiraya knew how to do and that made him look like he didn't progress at all.
yet once he did it the right way and was able to stop it from resisting him,he managed to aquire it.

the circonstances of aquiring kurama's chakra were the catalysist of that fast ascendance to power.
if he stopped 6 perfect jins without going as one, that's what i call BS.
hardwork is still there, yet hard work without special power can't do much, hard work with a special power is what made naruto who he is.

Okay yeah but he is from the Uzumaki clan so learning those justus would be easier compared to others trying to learn the jutsu.

He had Kurama inside of him and that messed with his chakra control. It wasn't easy for him to learn a jutsu :|

no offence but, that is the dumbest thing i've ever heard, being a part from a clan doesn't mean he can learn things better than others.

I honestly though it was to much when he got the perfected sage mode...

(I am not interested in another Dragon Ball, why would i be that?) (this anime/manga should have stayed how it was in the beginning, more about the tecniques and how the Ninja would use the terrain, and kunai's at his disposal to get rid of his enemies, not who can fire of the biggest energy ball at the opponent) :(

Yeah and then people would say how weak Naruto's characters are compared to One Piece, bleach, fairytail...etc.

Some people are already hating on Naruto enough, not having OP power would drop the manga's popularity. Just think about it for a minute...

Honestly naruto's improvements have always been a little too much. Remember how naruto went from a character who could be one shot sasuke to someone who could solo pain. The only thing that made it plausible was the fact he used the hyperbolic time chamber(toad sage mountain). Honestly we all knew naruto would master the kyuubi by the end of the manga anyway so I guess that's fine. (Don't like how he got FTG though) Well, I got over it when I saw madara blow off his mini TBB.

The uzumaki clan are a special clan, they have large quantities of energy and chakra and can heal themselves automatically.

capacity of learning things faster is different from having high stamina, matter of fact in naruto's case having kurama's chakra infused in his system made it harder for him to control his chakra and harder to learn things than anyone else.

I m fine with it...
As far as the progress makes sense, it's alright...

Let's take a look at it straight,
Naruto is the second Sage of 6 paths in the NV...OK?
How he came to this level??? See Naruto manga....

He was an idiot, no one knew him...
He made people acknowledge him, he made friends...
He became strong, and consequently a hero of the village by defeating a dangerous villain by any means...
He became valuable for them and hence they listened to him in every matter, even in an international matter...
Luckily or Unluckily he was a jinchuriki, he was to be protected from the world...
His friends joined forces to defend him, he couldn't sit idle and came to help them...
He showed his valor and will in protecting his friends, hence even a beast got inspired of him...
He made alliance with that beast and became even more powerful...
Hence forth he conquered the hatred and became new Sage of 6 paths!!!

Funny how people (sometimes myself) go on about power being handed to him etc.
But then if we saw those eps where he trained, we all shout "boring".
and if he somehow got those powers without us seeing it we'd all shout "why when how did he get these powers and not see it" etc.

Pick your grounds people.

I feel the same way. In the beginning, no - all the way up to just before the Invasion of Pain, I think Kishimoto was handling Naruto's Character & Strength Development well. Sure, we found out the Uzumaki were related to Senju/Rikudou but probably to intensify the rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke. And then thr Invasion of Pain happened and we found out that Naruto is the Child of Prophecy.

Oh Jesus Christ, why? First, to Neji, Naruto says that there is no such thing as destiny or whatever. Then he finds out he is a Child of Prophecy. So he is basically assured victory as Naruto isn't going to destroy the world, unless Kisimoto wants to make Naruto just like Anakin.

In that same arc we found out that Yondaime was his father.. Why?? He was the loser - the runt of the litter. The little bastard that had no skills whatsoever and through will power and sheer training, he outclassed most of his age group. And then we find out his father was this super OP shinobi.

Then we see Sage Mode in action. Great - it has many disadvantages and risks but still powerful. Great power up - then this guy gets KCM and BM. Sage Mode put him at Kage Level so he is still human - KCM and BM place him at a tier unmatchable by people like Kakashi, Guy and Lee. Honestly this series has become a bit contradictory.

Look at the average Top 10. Let's see what characters they have..,

Hashirama, Madara, Obito, Naruto, Nagato, Itachi, Sasuke, Minato, Kabuto, Killer B

Hashirama, Madara, Obito, Sasuke and Itachi and arguably Naruto and Nagato are from a blessed clan. Naruto and B are Jins. Kabuto has the cells of various people. The only one we have that isn't special is Minato and rest assured, we will probably find out that thr Namizake are important.

Well sorry for ranting - I agree.

No I don't think his progress is too much; besides he had to work hard and earn his 'OPness'=D

Did Naruto choose any of this himself? No. Neji said you can't change your destiny.

In part 1, Naruto was a talentless ninja. He couldn't even do the clone jutsu. It wasn't fate Naruto learned that jutsu. If Naruto didn't work hard and learn how to perform the jutsu he wouldn't know it today.

Rasengan - He learned it.
Sage Mode - He had to go train with frogs.
Nine-Tails - He had to go 1 on 1 with the Nine-Tails.
Shadow Clone Jutsu - He had to steel a scroll and almost got killed learning that jutsu.

Naruto had to earn what he has now. He didn't awaken the MS and a OP jutsu came to him.

Comming from sasuke fan im really suprised agree 100%

O.T : being uzumaki doesnt grant ability to copy jutsus u need to learn like everybody does

Wtf do you expect, the show is called naruto

Main character is always important to serie; they do not have to be destined children for it.
