I like Naruto, but does anyone else think his progress is a bit too much?

In part 1, Naruto was a talentless ninja. He couldn't even do the clone jutsu. It wasn't fate Naruto learned that jutsu. If Naruto didn't work hard and learn how to perform the jutsu he wouldn't know it today.

Rasengan - He learned it.
Sage Mode - He had to go train with frogs.
Nine-Tails - He had to go 1 on 1 with the Nine-Tails.
Shadow Clone Jutsu - He had to steel a scroll and almost got killed learning that jutsu.

Naruto had to earn what he has now. He didn't awaken the MS and a OP jutsu came to him.

Okay yeah but he is from the Uzumaki clan so learning those justus would be easier compared to others trying to learn the jutsu.

I feel the same way about Naruto. But I don't think he hasn't progressed, if Naruto didn't work hard and learn how to perform the jutsus he wouldn't know them today. It's not fair to say that he hasn't progressed, cause Sasuke just awakes MS and then EMS, does he do some kinda of crazy training for it?!
Naruto learned Rasengan,Sage Mode and even defeated the Kyuubi (ok with the help of Kushina but yeah).

Of course he would be important because we view the story in his point of view.
I am talking about his importance to the world he is living in; prophecy just gave it away.
Main characters are always imortant to story; they do not have to be destined children.

I honestly though it was to much when he got the perfected sage mode...

(I am not interested in another Dragon Ball, why would i be that?) (this anime/manga should have stayed how it was in the beginning, more about the tecniques and how the Ninja would use the terrain, and kunai's at his disposal to get rid of his enemies, not who can fire of the biggest energy ball at the opponent)

I agree, Kishi has made him way too OP, and too much of it come from abilities he was given. (The Kyuubi, great Chakra reserves, etc) Sure, he did work for it a bit, but this 'Born a loser, gained power fro hard working' thing went out the window long ago.

This exactly; he would not get his powers without the work; but hardwork is taking a small portion in his powers.

You do realize he did put his life on the line to gain the fox' power right? And guess what, he almost failed. Sure he received help from Kushina, but he still gained that power through hard work, unlike some people who just "awaken" them.

Naruto proved himself by defeating pain, that he did thru hard work n not giving up, every other thing now is a reward of his selfless acts.
I don't knw what else u want from him

As fr kurama, d manga clearly states he prefer naruto to madara, doesn't mean after d war he can't go back to being cold n heartless
