I want someone who thinks Jiraiya would win to answer this.
Most people say Jiraiya is to smart to be hit with Tsukuyomi but if he doesnt look at itachi in the face how is he going to fight him? Only someone like Mite Guy can predict movements just by looking at thier feet, and you cannot assume Jiraiya can do that. Not because he cant because its not in the manga (you cannot use an argument that isnt factualy based in the manga.)
And everyone says that the natural energy will save Jiraiya or Ma and Pa could put their chakra in him but what happens when Itachi puts all three under Tsukuyomi? Than they are all screwed.
Amaterasu is not something that anyone can just dodge, Sasuke dodged it because he used Orochimarus white snake ability and Itachi wasnt aiming for him completly or that would have defeted the purpose of keeping sasuke alive. Madara just had the fire phase right through him. And When did Jiraiya show any teqnique that shows he can get away from amaterasu?(which is considered almost unavoidable)
And Sussano, Please someone give me a legitament argument on how Jiraiya can beat this. running away counts as a loss so what does he do? He cant hit Itachi because of yatas mirror no jutsu that Jiraiya has will help. If he uses swamp of the underworld Itachi could use those seconds to hit him with the sword of tskota.
Jiraiya cant beat any of Itachis jutsu but Itachi can beat Jiraiyas.
Sage Mode is one hell of a teqnieque no one is denying that but what good is it against someone who just has to look at you and win
Also Jiraiya has to stand still to gather the energy, he had to iin his fight with pain and that itself alsmost killed him. So while hes not moving Itachi could attack
Everyone seems to think that Sage Mode is invincable but its not, It has that one major flaw that couuld get the user killed in seconds. You have to stand still for a certain amount of time before you can do it.

. Your exactly right on that one. And no one seems to take into account that Itachi is a full blown Uchiha. His stamina goes down fast becuase of the Mangakyou teqnieques. But he is part of the warrior clan and has incredible chakra. Madara stated that about UchihaAnd When Itachi fought Kakashi he told him that he had mastered the sharingan but he couldnt keep it up. You need the Uchihas physical streangth/stamina and thats not something anyone can copy.
So itachi might actualy have more chakra than Jiraiya also

im a die hard jiraiya fan... but lets face it itachi wud have beaten jiraiya and hung him out 2 drry....itachi's uber strong.... heck i personally think hez stronger than da current ssasuke by a long long way.... he doesnt fight sasuke 2 his full potential soo every1zz like sasuskes strong tthis and dat..... he pawnd orochimaru when he was like 13 orr smthg.... and no orochimaru isnt da strongest sanin jiraiya is....(from as far as weve seen)

Itachi would pwn jiraya. however i do not agree that he is stronger than sasuke. i think sasuke is more skilled. think a bout it. sasuke combated itachi almost equally without even having an advanced sharingan. itachi would not have died until he was sure sasuke surpased him. lets all face it. had itachi not had the mangekyou and had a regular sharing like sasuke he would have lost. making sasuke more skilled. sasuke would have obliterated itachi with his kirin but sasuno warped the attack into a nother demension.

he was not half dead, or half blind. and he didnt win, seriously read what u type, doesnt even make sense. he only wanted sasuke to win if he got him to a certain point. if itachi didnt feel sasuke surpassed him he wouldnt have died. Itachi said himself. he will be alive only until sasuke has surpassed him. im sure a supposed itachi fan like ur self would know this.
and many ppl believe sasuke has surpassed itachi, you urslef didnt even have a slightly legit argument as to why not.
did you forget that itachis fisical state wasnt at max we cant say if sasuke is stronger or not because we never saw the true itachi.
now think like this you have the ultimate machine of destruction but the way how you mark the target is malfuctioning then the machine is useless.
thats what happened to itachi's sharingan, having the strongest jutsu but he cant focus on the target because of his vision then all his jutsu is lost then is ill so his body cant give 100%.
so lets some it up:
bad vision = not being able to see and predict moves aswell as he could before.
illness = recation of body is slower then it should be.
and he cant use is best jutsu.
thats a big handicap since sasuke :

yes sasuke is talented even more then itachi but if they where both at full power but itachi without his MS he would use is vast ninjutsu ( that he must have copied ) since genjutsu doesnt work anymore and is the fastest guy in the anime( without guy and lee ) so he wouldnt give sasuke time to charge up kirin if he where truly serius

remember that kirin is too fast to dodge. also itachi did not know anything about kirin. sasuke didnt charge it up. he shot fire dragons into the sky to heat up the atmosphere. then he quickly used the lightning storm in a huge specialized speed of light move. its not like he was standing with his hands in the air like gokus spirit bomb.
