Ive been thinking it was Izuna since we found tobi wasnt really madara. If you think about it, the fact that tobi knows so much about the Uchiha from the time of the founding of konaha is great proof in favor of the izuna theory. and the page you showed with Tobi grabbing his arm as if he was angry also helps this theory because there is obviously some kind of grudge there.

And, so far, the only proof ive seen is that people say that the manga says that Izuna is dead. but that information came from tobi so whose to say that he wasnt lying when he said izuna was dead, just like he has been lying about who he is this whole time

I do not believe Tobi is Izuna because Izuna is already dead. Also Tobi did not know the location of Madara's corpse obviously because he was surprised when Kabuto first showed him the 6th Coffin. If he were Izuna who would also have to be alive being his brother he would know that. Besides Tobi LIED about the attack of the 9 tailed fox on the village claiming it was an accident. I do not believe Tobi is Izuna because Izuna is already dead. Also Tobi did not know the location of Madara's corpse obviously because he was surprised when Kabuto first showed him the 6th Coffin. Assuming Tobi lied about the death of Izuna(lied about his death), how was he able to live longer than Madara?

Madara has EMS which he gained from taking Izuna's eyes, correct? He even had Senju cells and later, awakened the Rinnegan. Clearly, Madara is much, much stronger. After Izuna lost his eyes, I don't see how he was be able to survive that long.

Tobi/Izuna claimed that he gave Nagato/Pein the Rinnegan.

Assuming he told the truth, where did Tobi/Izuna get the Rinnegan? Rinnegan can only be awaken from EMS, did Izuna have EMS and somehow awaken the Rinnegan too? Or did he took it from Madara's corpse?

I doubt that Madara gave his brother the Rinnegan when he took his eyes in the first place to gain EMS.

If Tobi/Izuna lied, then Nagato/Pein must have had the Rinnegan from Madara. How was Madara able to give the Rinnegan to Nagato/Pein when Madara was longway back dead?

When madara was revived he says that things weren't going according to plan. What im thinking is does Tobi(Izuna) have any anger toward madara. And judging by the way he squeezed his arm it seemed that Izuna really didn't give his eye's willingly but was forced. What ever madara and izuna had going on izuna abandoned the plan. But was it because of his eye's ? Did he really have that much anger toward his brother to abandon the plan and trash his brother's name by his doings ?

in the anime, it showed izuna kneeling by the "going-blind" madara, and madara said somethin like "i'm sorry" or somethin, and took his eyes. from then izuna was presumed dead but it never actually said he died. maybe that's why izuna would be angry cuz madara took his eyes and tried to take on the 1st by himself instead of them together...?

he and madara were brother's right? so somehow he may have had senju cells as well. which may explain how he was able to either create zetsu, or use someone from the senju clan to alter their dna or something...with orochimaru's help, since oro seemed to claim he knew tobi :O

What if madara only got his left sharingan? that would explain tobi having only 1 sharingan.
WE also need to know how has tobi(izuna) stayed alive for so long?
