I hope in the new manga Boruto gains Byakugan

It was never stated that you only needed white eyes to activate it.

4 year old neji and 3 year old hinata had white eyes, so no activation was needed.
but also in their cases they were pure hyuuga, himwari and boruto are only half hyuuga so anything is possible

the biggest problem with boruto getting byakugan is that it would look awful. himawari can pull it off because she looks like hinata. boruto cant.

Yeah he uses the Rasengan (end of the Movie, full sized), Vanishing Rasengan (supposed wind element added, not confirming it via future works that might say it was an other element due to no actual canon source), Gentle Fist has no feats so forget about it (but he can still use it obv), yeah I'll post the shuriken gif in a second for you.

Who's hating? All I said was that it's non-canon, so it doesn't matter what anyone gets/does in the series.

Well wasn't Byakugan a kekkei genkai.....and if thats the case you have got to be born with it.....Himawari and boruto both have got blue eyes and even then Himawari awakened the Byakugan so it refutes the theory that you have to be born with white eyes only. Now as far as boruto is concerned if he gets the byakugan he will be OP no doubt about it....he has to be after all two strongest ninja will be working to make him stronger Naruto and Sasuke. Whether he awakens it or not it is all up to the story writer....but both ways it will be awesome....i prefer him blue-eyed though. At least he should look like the 7th hokage's legacy and Himawari can be the next hyuga princess.

Himawari is cooler with the Byakugan anyway. Why steal her thunder? He doesn't need the Byakugan, he's doing fine without it.

I get the feeling Boruto is going to follow his father' path of training and have something "body" related like Sage Mode or 8 Inner Gates. It'd be nice to see some new type of "body" discipline, or a new type of sage mode, but this probably won't happen.
