sasuke cannot suppress the Kyuubi. you all ppeople got it all wrong wrong!!!!!!
Well I would like to go back to where this all began.

First of all naruto refused to use the kyuubi's power. And If you've been paying attention to the manga then you know the kyuubi's true power is sealed behind the cage. therefore the kyuubi can only pass on a small amount of chakra to naruto (And I say small amount because the 9tails chakra is unlimited).

For example let's say there was no seal holding back the kyuubi and sasuke was there do you think his ordinary sharingan could suppress unlimited sinister chakra???
And just to clarify that the kyuubi isn't a total push over let's go to

Sasuke's sharingan has gone up a level he now has MS. Can sasuke cast genjutsu on a single opponent yes (Let's say the 9tails fox on it's own), but can sasuke cast genjutsu on an established jinchuuriki. Well let's go to
So If naruto got to that stage sasuke wouldn't be able to supress the kyuubi nor control it. So we can say that when he surpassed the kyuubi, The kyuubi was firstly being held back with the seal by minato so what he really supressed was no where near the real amount of the kyuubi total chakra and secondly, naruto wasn't cooperating with him or working as one so the kyuubi had no one to break or snap him out of the genjutsu.
If naruto and the kyuubi was one and there was no seal holding him back I'm pretty sure that it would have been a completely different story.

This is the final part which pretty much shouts out that sasuke is destined to lose to naruto. Well if we go to
To summerise everything. Can sasuke beat naruto and kyuubi??? ...My answer is, currently yes because naruto hasn't opened the seal to the kyuubi's cage and formed a strong partnership. But however he still has Itachi's powers which we know nothing about. And for all we know Itachi's powers could take out sasuke on it's own, we just have to wait and see.
But If naruto has fully mastered the kyuubi the next time he meets sasuke then sasuke would be revisiting his nightmere with the Hachibi where he proved ineffective up untill Amaterasu. Naruto will have overwhelming power and Itachi's powers on top of it all so depending on what type of power Itachi gave him sasuke would have a difficult time. Well that's right after his dumbfounded that Itachi's kicking his ass from the dead

. Itachi, the genius that he is. He knew for a fact that Madara would come along and brain wash sasuke with his biography. So Itachi took extra precaution by implanting some of his powers within naruto, it's still unknown what powers naruto has but if we take a guess we can assume it's sharingan related.
