How would you rank Madara's intelligence?

He's a pretty smart shinobi. More or less like Orochimaru I feel. He can make up great plans before hand and will be diligent when researching. But when it comes down to the battle, he's too cocky and lets his power speak for itself.

Considering he set the plot for the show in motion i would say the highest the data book allows which is a 5

He has medical expertise (stiched obito together) Cultivated zetsu from hashi dna so you know he could of been a bio engineer,he has more knowledge then anyone on the true events of history besides the sage himself.

He is the most intelligent. toying with the kage and waiting until they've given all they got. The complete opposite to sasuke's and better than itachi's.

Toying with the Kage is what makes him a fool *_*, I don't see how you could call someone smart for toying with people

Well he did stich Obito up, presumably took over yagura and created Zetsu
