How will Naruto make it up the ninja ranks?

I've always wondered how Naruto expects to make it up the ninja ranks. The only 2 techniques he knows are Rasengan and Shadow Clones. To be a jounin(I know chuunin comes before that..but everyone and their brother can get promoted to chuunin, so that's a given more than likely) you actually have to be able to teach your genin. He's shown no ability to form strategies, simply makes up things on the go, which is fine for someone of his power and chakra(and not to mention if anything ever went wrong the nine tails kicked in), but that's not going to cut it for genin teams. And he has nothing to teach them outside of rasengan and shadow clone.

I can't see any way he actually makes it up the ranks. He would have to be promoted straight from genin/chuunin to hokage if he's going to make it that far.

So he's going to teach everyone the rasengan and assume that's good enough?

Yeah he's a sage, but he can't teach people to be sages. That's up to Ma and Pa.

i think he could teach sage mode if he had a student worthy of learning it like pa said you must have massive chakrea to even atempt it

also i get what you are saying but minato only had ftg and rasengan ...and seals and he was a kage so not to be a dic but it seems that would be enough for naruto as well

Power isn't everything. You need intelligence as well. If he's going to be teaching genin he can't say "go in to a battle, give it your all, nearly get killed then turn in to a tailed beast". Not going to work with anyone else other than him...

Jounin have more than jutsu, though. It's intelligence. They don't go head first in to battles without thinking things through.

Shikamaru is the perfect example of one of the Konoha 11 that is jounin material. Even though he sticks with pretty much 1 jutsu, his intelligence makes it an awfully deadly technique.

Ive always said that as a ninja he has little talent.
If you really wanna analyse a ninja go by their base. Naruto's base/core is very poor

that is very untrue my good sir he had many other justus he just never used them as far as we have seen cause the req hand seals and as u have seen all his fights are fast pace so no time for hand seals and he doesnt need them

naruto has shown his skill in battle time and time agian he thinks more when fighting like against kazukau (spelling) he sent clones assessed the situation and then attacked accordingly he is smarter than he once was and getting better all the time i dont see what your problem is with him he is smart and capable i would rather him be my sensai then kurinia

How many techs has Kakashi taught? Honestly ranks are abut more than the number of jutsus one has.
