No, girls don't know what they want. Your better off taking what they say they want in a "perfect man" and become the exact opposite of that... him:

A guy whose most likely broke, has 10 felonies, but those girls think "I can fix him".. yea, that's what their actually looking for. So become him.... Which sorta goes back to my ignoring the girl statement.

But seriously, you should try to be friends with a girl for a while before you ask her out. That takes off alot of the pressure and you get to be around her more and find out if she's someone you'd really like to go out with. Plus, she gets to know you more, and if she hangs out with you alot then there's a good chance she doesn't find you repulsive lol

And also, i know its been said before and it sounds kinda cheesy, but really just be yourself. If you feel like you have to act some certain way for a girl to like you, then she probably isn't someone you'd really want to go out with anyway, the relationship won't last.

Actually, I partially agree with that. I want to extend a warning/tip here.

There are two types of flirting, the type that leads to a relationship and the type that doesn't. Learn to identify what kind is going on. You and flirt with a girl just for kicks and it be okay, but as long as you are doing the right kind of flirting... what's the right kind? Well, if she gives you her number, you did the wrong kind. If she gives you a kiss on the cheek or some other affection when she leaves, it was the right kind. You got to kinda learn to hold back when you decide to flirt without any intention of a relationship (girls have to learn that too).

Honestly guys, quit worrying about trying to impress girls. Believe it or not, it's harder for a girl to pick up on a guy than it is for a guy to pick up on a girl, cause us guys naturally like to be the aggressors, so if the girl tries to hard, they get rejected, if they don't try hard enough their signals are overlooked. Girls are under a lot of stress around us, so instead of worrying about how you are going to impress her, why not look around and see which one of those girls is actually trying to get your attention, most likely you've been overlooking her because you're too worried about yourself.

few of my tips to impress a girl:

Think before your talk. Don't be obnoxious and don't try to act funny. Be polite and look descent. Besides that theres three things you should know to answer any question and the best way to prepair yourself.
1 What do you Drive, 2 Where are your headed in life (goals/job), and 3 who causes you problems in life(generaly refer this too a third person or thing you have a problem with)???
Know the answers to these questions ahead of time can do wonders to impress any one.

If she actually is hot, then don't do this. You're just going to come off as every other guy thats trying to get in her pants, whether your are or aren't. A good way to approach a hot girl is to make sure shes with a friend. Sort of close out the girl you going for from the conversation and then give her a back handed compliment then slowly shift the conversation so you're talking to her instead of her friend. You talk about some random things, then say its too loud or something and bring her somewhere where you can get some 1 on 1 time. If you play your cards right, your in. Girls hate hesitation, so if it seems like she might want to kiss you, just go for it.

Remember, 75% of the battle is initiating the conversation. Chances are if you're shy, the girl you're approaching is just as shy.


A good book for this type of stuff is The Game by Neil Strauss. Even if you're not looking for ways to pick up girls, its good for self confidence and also its just a really good story.
