How much powerful Hashirama was?

Each time when when i see madara use mokuton,it destroy everything. U can see it in latest chapter too. Madara create a whole tree world and flower tree world which push all 5 kage near to death. But kabuto still says that "there aren't ninjas on the same level of the 1st hokage hashirama anymore" means even madara cant use mokuton as like 1st hokage.
So how much powerful hashi was?? He was a beast and strongest shinobi ever aftr so6p i think. But people here are still underrating him and mokuton n i dont knw why they do this. What do u think abt it?

YEP.true.i used to underrate his powers for i was always thinking that madara only fought with him in order to gain his DNA,that otherwise he would beat the crap out of him.But i kinnda changed my mind after seeing the latest chapters plus he was using several tailed beasts back then.That must have been powerful.
