Well, to be fair....Obito can transport himself to a diffrent dimension. How can Totsuka pierce something that doesn't even exist at that place?

I don't think Izanami is a factor. How would a living Itachi set it up? the only reason as to why it worked against Kabuto is because Itachi was an edo and could regen..And Totsuka being instant? i don't think so. Not sure about the things you said about Sasuke not breaking Tsukuyomi, i mean even Itachi himself appeared to be suprised.

One thing that stops him from using it is the time it takes for it to be set up.
What's stopping Obito from just warping in behind him from out of nowhere and instantly absorbing him to the other dimension?

I didn't want to make that argumment because it is rather cheesy, but still...it's there.

I give it obito more times than not mainly due to lack of info on kamui but even so im sure a man of itachi's caliber if he witnesses his attacks going through obito he will figure out he is using S/T and form a plan from there but regardless I still give it to obito more times than not.

And if obito gets in tysukuyomi he aint surviving it! itachi can make 10 secs or so seem like a year of getting stabbed. Obito falls to the floor goes into a coma

Intangibility is a mangekyou ability though.

His mask broke because of the kunai strategy, there was a tbb overlapping him so naruto was able to hit the actual obito.
