How is Itachi > MS Obito?

Let me start by saying, this is NOT a Hate thread against Itachi. Iv'e seen a lot of people saying that MS Itachi is stronger than MS Obito, and i just don't see how.


How does Itachi beat MS Obito??? I want a real, well thought out answer. No trolls saying ''itachi solos'' and stuff like that.

Obito has

Mokuton
Kamui
Better stamina and more chakra
He was thought personally by Madara, so we can assume that Obito has a greater variety of Jutsu/ Knowledge of jutsu.
While i think Itachi is more skilled in Taijutsu, Obito's Kamui fighting style enables him to beat Itachi.

Obito's reaction speed is Top tier...it's just below Minato's.

So, how does Itachi beat him? Amaterasu won't work, as it failed in the past.
Totsuka blade won't work because of Kamui...

The only advantages Itachi has are Genjutsu, his shuriken prowess, and the speed of his handseals/body flicker.

Susano'o isn't really an option because Itachi's stamina levels are so low he can't maintain it for long periods.

The only way i can see Itachi winning is if Tsukuyomi will affect Obito, which i don't see it doing. Sasuke broke through it without MS, why can't Obito do the same?

He isnt. I'm no fanboy, but there is no way Itachi can beat Obito, he can't even hit him. He'd run out of chakra too fast.

Honestly, you said it in the weaknesses. Itachi's Genjutsu. However, if Itachi could make the battle last more than 5 minutes making Obito constantly use his Kamui to dodge, Itachi takes this easily via sealing by Totsuka Blade. Yata Mirror stops Kamui, does it not? Tsukuyomi will break Obito.

Do I need to tell you how Obito controlled a Perfect Jinchuuriki for years or how he has both a Kekkei Genkai and Sharingan which are required to be able to break out of Tsukuyomi or how Hebi Sasuke managed to counter every last one of Itachi's Genjutsu effectively.​

How does YATA stop Kamui??? That makes no sense. Yata is a shield right? so it should only protect his front. Obito could just walk through it with Kamui, and instantly absorb Itachi.

Notice the "right now" clearly a reference to Itachi's trap he just countered not a fight and are you really going to completely ignore Itachi stating he needed Sasuke's eyes to fck with Tobi?

Itachi could have won that battle at the beginning, however he didn't try to kill Sasuke. On top of that, he was sick/not at full power. If Itachi wanted Tsukuyomi to destroy Sasuke, he would have done much more damage much sooner. Isn't that obvious?

Yata Mirror repels all jutsu. I didn't mean it stops Obito from using it on himself, but rather trying to warp Itachi to the Kamui dimension. Sorry for not being clear on that.

Thats a one time plot thing.... there is a reason why he didn't take out each jinchuuriki like that

The Juubi was trying to take control, not kill. Itachi uses Tsukuyomi, and stabs Obito countless times as he did Kakashi. That mental abuse is, in my opinion, greater than the Juubi trying to take control. The databook said that he broke out of it because he did, I never argued that, but what Itachi did inside Tsukuyomi was give Sasuke enough time to break out of it.

You gotta start reading this manga more often.

In his conversation with Sasuke he explained that he'd be dead by now if he didn't hide his identity from itachi.
Of course Itachi is not a fool who is going to rush against the whole Akatsuki at once if he attempt for the kill, he was a spy in the end.
