How I wanted Shippuden to end.

I've been thinking about this - So I want to pick up the story to the moment when Naruto returns from stopping Pain, and everyone in the village came back to life in the exception of:

> Kakashi - Development for both Naruto/Sakura, mostly Sakura. It would push her to some kind of advancement in her character, similar to how Asuma's death changed Ino, Choji, and Shikimaru. Naruto who already lost Jiraiya, would of felt pain, but much like how he asked Tsunade about him earlier. He would of endured.

> Chōza Akimichi - Great development for Choji. Nothing needed to be said here, you can already picture why I would want this for him. The lack of seriousness in his character, depth, and realism are what drop 'bombs' on the battlefield in terms of relating to these characters.

> Tsunade - Development for the Hidden Leaf, Naruto, Sakura, and Shizune. With her death Shizune would have to take her place as the Lead medic, and this would prepare Sakura early on so that it would hint most of her war arc techniques. With this for Naruto, it would bring him to a conclusion that with Kakashi, and Tsunade dead there were be no other person capable to run the village.

> I'll update this list on the major deaths for other characters as-well, this is only a rough draft. I have some ideas for the Hyuuga's too.

Story:
With the people already at his side, they would begin to look up to him, but not as the savior. As a man. He would be stuck between the choice of leading his village, or retrieving Sasuke. However a man stood in his place who wanted the Hokage seat, far longer than he has. Despite bringing Pain down physically, Naruto still has not shown mentally that he is capable of putting all else aside, and leading this village.

Which in turn brings the Five Kage Summit Arc. I would completely disregard each and every disappointment to Naruto's character in which he got beat up by the Kumogakure shinobi for Sasuke, or when he bowed his head. Instead I replace it with him beating the Kumogakure shinobi, but holding back and telling them what they need to know, however as he did this he had to come to the conclusion that Sasuke was no longer his friend anymore. He had to be stopped.

With Naruto meeting Ay I would replace the entire scenery with Naruto coming into terms that he must bring down Sasuke. So in turn he would begin to ask Ay a favor, instead of begging for forgiveness, he would ask permission for him to stand down for a moment. So that he could showcase his talent and skill in bringing down Sasuke. Whether or not Ay grants him this permission is unclear for my story. It does not matter because Naruto would do what is needed.

As the story progress it would be with Sakura going off to kill Sasuke, and Sasuke finishing off Danzo. This is where my story would end, but please understand why as I tell you this. As Naruto saves Sakura from . Naruto would turn around and face Sasuke, not as comrades, not as friends, but as enemies. Naruto would begin to warn Sasuke that if he did not stand down, he would be forced to eradicate him from the Shinobi world. Which in turn would shock Sakura whom had put a level of trust in Naruto for bringing Sasuke back.

The scene would end without any violence, it is not needed. It would end with Sasuke at Obito's side, and Naruto walking up to the corpse of Danzo (or Tree) and picking up the Hokage hat. He would clearly state to both Obito, and Sasuke before they teleport: "I will not stop you as your friend, nor will I stop you as a shinobi" - Naruto would begin to place the hat on his head - "I will stop you as a Hokage, if you so dare to bring harm to my village, my people. I will have no choice but to put you down, Sasuke."

Sasuke would be affected by those words, but not in shock. He would take this as a sign of challenge. Signifying their "ancestral" bond in which Yin/Yang, Light/Dark, etc., never stop fighting.

On that note I would have had the series end with a time skip, a few years into the future with Naruto as Hokage, and Sasuke whom left with Obito being trained by the mysterious hooded man who had yet to be named Obito (and probably never will in my story).

Well what do you think? Note that the story itself is not over, but would be the ending of Shippuden. Which would lead to the third part.

Not feeling it, it would leave to many plot holes and no true ending.
Agreed with the pain arc stuff though

I'm going to be completely honest! Why didn't you write this manga! I enjoyed reading all of this, I feel is this manga wasn't a shonen it would've headed a similar direction. Great ending to Shippuden.

Cool but I think anyone who is able to fill every plot hole and make it make sense would have ended it better than Kishi because too many things were left to mystery.

Re-read it, a time skip occurs then Akkipuden (or whatever the 3rd Naruto series would be called) sets in.

Please give me your feedback ~

Thank you for enjoying the read ~ I won't lie to you, I sent ideas to Kishimoto once to improve his story when Part 1 ended. I doubt it reached him, though if I could draw I would definitely create a manga.

It would make a full circle towards the end. They both need to develop, not just Sasuke. Sasuke disregarded Naruto, so Naruto would need a time period where he disregarded Sasuke too. I would continue the story with both of them coming to a close at the end, in which the story solves itself. Not with one savior, but them saving each-other. That to me is more dramatic.

You are right, I just fixed it.

I did not end the story with Shippuden, another time skip was placed which would continue the story

Kishimoto could have easily made this story enjoyable if he took the time to sit down and figure out what he wanted, instead he made a complete U-Turn for the MC, and the characters around him. It turned the story sour, and the main focus itself turned into Sasuke and his revenge. Sadly Kishimoto did not play his cards right, and he lost the game, badly.

Sounds poetic :)
Glad you like the idea, I was really expecting this. So you can understand my disappointment with the future arcs. Though, here's Indra hoping for some progress in the Gaiden lol.

Of course Evil Sasuke is the best kind of Sasuke.

I like your scenario

In a similar way I always envisioned Naruto standing with an army of unified shinobi against Sasuke where as Sasuke would be a "People's Champ" considered he freed all those people from the prisons and stuff and that by killing Orochimaru he would have a hero among the common folk.

Yes I agree. It would directly parallel the Ashura/Indra scans during the Hagoromo flask back on why both (Indra and Ashura) continue to fight till this day.
