As an Itachi fan of the early 2000's the very few left of the original i am still happy and confident when i say Alive itachi > Alive minato. I have yet to see a convincing minato argument, though the same can be said about itachi as well. Minato has shown little more feats in edo form, like the use of bunshin and the fact that the seal doesn't go, however nothing drastic in base to convince me of a win and if anything believe it or not i am more confident than ever as my understanding of hiraishin has become sharper than ever due to it gaining more exposure and explanation, we can put to the table its feats but also its limitations as before there was a no limit wank to it.
Example as we all know minato can determine what he teleports back with him. However from what we know canonically know of hiraishin is that anything within range gets teleported automatically with minayo. Minato is the decider, he is the one who decides what to teleports back with him. But what happens when a technique eludes minato's awareness, this is what happens [

Because hiraishin within range teleports everything and he is the decider if he misses an attack he takes back by default the attack with him. We already know that itachi holds the fastest hand speed and one of the fastest ninjutsu execution, so much that sharingan users cannot keep track. Its but highly plausible to say that, minato like the sharingan user's will not be able to keep track with his eyes, (nor does he have a near 360% vision that the byakugan holds) itachi's handspeed and execution and its possible that, an attack by itachi where he doesn't know where it came from, will teleport it back with him. The use karasu bunshin or kuchiyose which temporarily distorts an opponents visions will go to great lengths to further make live difficult for minato when he uses hirasihin. The combination of distorting your opponents field of vision, combined with his ninjutsu execution will allow itachi to hit minato, via minato taking back with him unaware a ninjutsu.
He can also use karasu bunshin's and kage bunshins both of which double his chances of genjutsu
Genjutsu either seal or visual based. Kanashibari or real life simulation has both shown to limit movement.
In terms of kcm minato we use his counterpart, edo itachi.
This version has all his weakness removed, but also even in kcm minato's most potent attack is very much still the rasengan a, attack v1 susano has shown enough feats to tank. In edo where itachi doesn't suffer any strain, will make life hard for even a minato with half of kurama to defeat. His base speed is roughly equivalent to v1 Ei, with kcm he most likely when let loose will be equal if not superior in foot speed than v2 Ei, but also has gained great durability as that is another advantage of kcm, his bunshin's even when hit in cqc agains't current obito didn't disperse.
That and the fact that feat wise he hasn't shown a technique apart from the shiki fujin to seal an edo. Yes he has hype form learning many seals however seals come in many forms. Not all seals are made to seal souls.
Bm minato wins. His lackluster attack potency is solved with bm mode as he can use tbb. However people forget that bm mode either his mode or naruto's dependent on kurama contribution. Unlike in kcm mode where they can forcefully take kurama's chakra without kurama's contribution, in bm mode kurama has to contribute otherwise otherwise neither him or naruto can go bm mode by force.
Anyway im still confident in alive itachi vs alive minato and somewhat confident in edo itachi vs kcm minato. Bm minato however takes it by a clear margin, the other two is still debateable imo. Bm minato is clearly in another tier than even edo itachi, but when you have a temporal power in the form of half the fox which you have only access to when in his current edo state only, but also to keep relevant otherwise you will be reduced to the same stance as tobirama/sasuke, im not too concerned. If anything i am enjoying bm minato for other reasons but also a little far and son moment doesn't hurt anybody
