How did kakashi get the mangekyo

I mean how could he possibly get it, you have to kill the person you have the closest bond to right. So how did he i don't get it.................
well some of the theories out there are like that he copied itachis mangekyo somehow..
or
he put him self under a genjutsu and killed i guess maybe rin or obito or made himself witness obitos death again..
but still we really dont know how the hell did he... hes not an uchiha so maybe a loophole or something
i really want everyones opinion on this since the manga has progressed greatly and we still dont know how did he get it...

Even i want to know. Lets wait till story reveals. I think he might have awakened it by copying while under itachi's tsukiyomi or the intense physical and mental anguish during tsukiyomi made him to awaken it.

1.This couldn't have happened since he never wants to see another comrade die.

2. Most of the way Itachi lives is based off what he learned from Obito so he'll never forget him or his sacrifice.

Honestly he's lost a lot of people close to him since we don't know when Rin died we can only assume the death of Minato is what triggered it since Kakashi obtained his sharingan as a gift and they weren't stolen I believe he has an EMS as well but he can't withstand the heavy strain of it's power other than that I don't know it's hard to get across your point when your sleepy...

have you noticed that kakashi did a hand seal and meditate for some minutes to focused his chakra... well these means that he activated MS some other sort .. than killing best friend.

Could be that Kakashi is most attached... TO HIMSELF. And he experienced himself dieing multiple times during the Itachi Tsukuyomi. Over time he develops it.

I'll bet, we never find out because it's not important.

oh my bad!!! Itachi did say that :x
He didn't kill shisui!!! he said that thing to sasuke!!! he felt guilty for his death !!!
and these days people most believe you will achieve Ms by feeling guilty or deeply sad about death of someone close to you!!!
sasuke didn't kill itachi right!!! but he got it right after crying and feeling sad about itachis death

I thought it was very obvious.
Kakashi developed the MS by grieving the loss of his loved ones. Most likely Obito, it could also be the combined grief of losing Obito, Rin, Minato, and his Father.

It has never been proven that you have to kill your friend in order to attain MS.
Itachi didn't kill anyone close to him to unlock MS, he only lied and said he did.
Itachi obviously gained the MS from the death of Shisui and the countless other deaths he's witnessed as a child.

Sasuke did not attain MS from killing someone close. He got it from Itachi or from feeling the pain of losing his beloved brother.

Madara nor Izuna weren't rumored to have killed someone close to attain MS either.

Shisui also did not kill anyone close to attain the MS as far as we know.

All of that, Killing a loved one BS was just a lie by Itachi so that he could make Sasuke strive for the power to kill him, so that Itachi could seal his jutsu into Sasuke making Sasuke think he unlocked it on his own IMO.
