Nagato > Hashirama. In short, mokuton is a ninjutsu and gets countered with deva and petra path. Genjutsu wont work either and tai jutsu is a bad move since Nagato has assura and human path.

Who says ems Madara > Nagato? Gedo Mazo is enough to stop PS and PS is just chakra and can be absorbed.

Why do people say that? If Naruto beat him with his spamming Rasengan, then Hashirama, a person who is, I can't even describe how powerful he is compared to Naruto, can beat Nagato with ease.

To be frank it's able to absorb oil from Jiriya it's not a stretch to be able to absorb wood.

I dont think preta can absorb wood, its a little bit different from other elements because its a living material. So if it cannot be absorbed, then Hashi wins. His strong and long-range mokuton can withstand shinra tensei, and with the woodbranches and roots he can withstand banshou tennin too. He can use woodclones too, and that darkness-genjutsu. IMO

Anyone who think wood release won't be absorb by preta path abilities is a hashirama fanboy obviously. That is just wishing thinking its ninjutsu so it would be absorb. If anyone think his wood could survive shinra tension or any other deva.paths abilities i have to say that's wishing thinking also since nagato use deva path to destroy the leaf village that hashirama created with his kekkei genkai. The only reason naruto even stood a chance against the paths of pain was because of the.fact he had detail information on each one and their abilities. I don't think hashirama can beat the six paths of pain and he definitely cant beat nagato. If u think so asked yourself this how would he survive having his sole taken by that chakra dragon.
