Its name is guillotine which is a killing device. People in real life just don't say I walked away from a guillotine unscratched and ate a lollipop afterward.
Why would he name it guillotine if your not going to die.

It was either his chest that had the crack suannoo rib that did not fully close back up. Or it was his neck which the "guillotine" drop was going to smash.

Raikage came back to whoop Sasuke more, but was stopped by Madara zapping Sasuke to Mini-Shariverse for Sasuke to recuperate, WHILE THE RAIKAGE WANTED TO FIGHT SASUKE!
