Actually it does matter. Kakashi's explanation of the technique is very wrong. His body parts don't actually move anywhere, if they did, Obito would die if he tried to phase his head, and when Kakashi punched him in the stomach, blood wouldn't come out of his mouth in the real world.

i think youre missing the point, when obito goes intangible the jutsu is not applied over the enemy instead hes using kamui over himself, so whatever phases through obito even totsuka blade is not touching obito whatsoever, is like totsuka blade was touching simple air, totsuka blade to seal something has to touch it and there´s nothing astral in touching simple air, besides your basing the discussion on a feat never seen on manga panels is like DBZ that freza was said to be the most powerful being but them turns out we also had king cold,cell majin buu, besides do i have to remind that amaterasu was said to not be possible to put out till it completly incinerates the subject? but hey jiraya put out amaterasu and sasuke too, remember every technique has a weak spot itachi said so, totsuka blade is not unbeatable

as for kamui applied not for intangibility but warping objects, when you kamui something your appling kamui to the space near that something you want to warp away not the object itself then the space that is bending or warmhole pulls you in, i dont think totsuka can seal a piece of space fabric

Really you think Itachi could solo Double MS Rinnegan healthy Obito :leaf: Totsuka ain't piercing Obito if he is intangible. Itachi can't keep Susano and Obito has plenty of fire style, mokuton(which can restrain BM Naruto), shuriken, and gedo mazo. After Itachi's Susano and his overrated weapons are gone. Obito kamui snipes or send onmyoton balls to get rid of Itachi. Or... Onmyoton solos Itachi's Susano then Itachi dies. Rinnegan Obito, Juubito, Obito with BZ is enough to solo Itachi. I think Double MS healthy Obito can pull it off.
