Think about it! Why wouldn't Obito just take the Kyuubi with him? Instead, he unleashed it upon the village. It was so that the Kyuubi would destroy everyone and Danzo would take over in the aftermath, just like with Pain's invasion!

So that he could get Danzo, to force the Akatsuki into doing this:

as bad as danzo was, he wouldn't do anything that would put the leaf in danger (remember how he waned to take out sasuke and tobi knowing they are enemies of the leaf). if that was what obito wanted when he attacked the leaf then how would he convince danzo to do so ?? whats in it for danzo ?? why would he help uchiha madara (obito at that time) the man who first of all is an UCHIHA (this is danzo the uchiha killer) and second he (tobi, obito, madara) wants to take over/destroy the leaf ??

Shisui didn't die on the day of the Uchiha massacre. And how do you know when Orochimaru left the village? Even if he did, he's the one that gave Danzo the Senju cells and implanted his power to perform Izanagi. That was after the massacre.

It would help him become Hokage. Just like he became Hokage in the aftermath of Pains invasion. Orochimaru was secretly his subordinate, who gave Danzo his Senju cells. He attacked the village to kill Sarutobi. But that incident attracted Jiraiya, Sarutobi's first choice, and Danzo was once again powerless.
