Fellowship of the Ring. o-o

I just found that more exciting and overall enjoyed it more. <.<
The Hobbit was a great film though, and can't wait for part 2.

Well the whole story line of lotr is better, but the hobbit itself was better in quality and i can't say much about the story line because we still have 2 parts to go

I would say The lord of the rings, because its awesome and its also a complete trilogy.
The story line is better.
None can really judge The Hobbit yet, because there are still 2 more movies that are to be shown.
But part 1 of The Hobbit was such a brilliant movie in my opinion.
But comparing the two: The Fellowship Of The Ring and An Unexpected Journey I would have to say I prefer prefer The Fellowship Of The Ring

I'd have to say LoTR: Fellowship of the Ring.

Although I did enjoy The Hobbit, I found Fellowship to be much more interesting and works well as a standalone movie. The Hobbit is too focused on build-up for its sequels, and so it suffers from a slow pace and less action. Admittedly, I liked the cast in Fellowship more so than the cast of The Hobbit, so that could also be a factor in why I liked it more.

Fellowship without a doubt it was just extremely epic, perfect example of how to start a series. Firstly the adventure in the hobbit book isn't on the same scale as the journey in Lord Of The Rings books/movies. Though I like both.

Every character is introduced just perfectly so that you have an attachment to them and each member of the fellowship has a lesson to teach the reader. Your thrown into this world with a cursed ring that consumes souls and two epic villians are introduced. You get rich to the point back stories of the characters and it makes you invested in them. Even with the loss of an important member and the crumbling of the fellowship that was set out to save the world. You still have hope that they will be able to do it and left with the fear of how and what is in front of them.

Epic.

I'd have to say the Fellowship of the ring as well. Though I have to say that the Hobbit was a great movie, I really liked the characters. And please, who doesn't like the dwarves? They're funny, brave, smart, dumb etc... When they're all together they're amazing. But I do agree with what someone said above, since the Hobbit is more focused on the story behind the 3 (the current one and the 2 coming movies) together, it is kinda slow paced at some times. Though the battles were great.
The Fellowship was just more exciting and there was more action, which makes me like it more ^^

I love Tolkien fans ._.

I don't think it had a slow pace, the Hobbit has more action than the first LOTR imo. And with the cast part, they are both wonderfully chosen, the dwarves are brill

The Hobbit was good, but LoTR is legendary u-u
