As you all undoubtedly know, The 3 members of Team 7 are exactly following what the Sannin did...
Naruto - Frogs, Rasengan
Sasuke - Snakes, Betrays Village
Sakura - Medic-Nin, Super Strength

But if history does truly repeat itself more, then Sakura should become the Hokage, not Naruto.

I think history will not repeat itself as this generation is the one bringing change.

The thing with the 3 sannin and the Hokage position was that their teacher was the Hokage before them.

Kakashi isn't the Hokage, and most likely won't be.

Also, Jiraiya was offered the position, but turned it down. Naruto's whole life has been about becoming Hokage, so in that way he's different: he wants to be Hokage.

Naruto isnt exactly turning out like jiriaya, he's more like the 4th now.
Plus the 4th wanted naruto to grow up like the protagonist on Jiriayas first book.
