yes they both posses that jutsu bt will saru be able to catch minato in that jutsu minato isv the one who created reaper death seal so i would think that he had a way to counter it easily. saru is very weak he was easily killed by oro as soon as the sword went impaled him. reaper death seal was his way of not making his death pointless. saru is the weakes kage ever looooooooooool

perhaps true, even though this particular sealing tech is unique to him it would seem, something he created, not something he simply picked up thru learning. also what he did with the kyuubi was waay more complex than what hiruzen's execution of the same technique.
