Im with u ^^ but minato in my opinion
This. Minato had the potential, but we just can't compare! Please understand!Another minato and hiruzen thread. Wow! Let me be simple. Minato had the potential to be the best but never did because he died. Safe to say minato wasn't in his prime. Stop this. Its ridiculous. We never saw neither minato or hiruzen in their prime so this debate is worthless. Just stop. Stop. God please. Stop. Its worst than a sasuke defects everybody thread

For the people who think Hiruzen is stronger than Minato?
1: Becoming Hokage means you're the strongest Shinobi in the Village ok so that means Minato obviously is stronger than Hiruzen. Well According to wiki when Naruto part 1 Naruto was 12 years old meaning Fox attacked 12 years ago in Naruto part 1 and so meaning Hiruzen died at age 68. 68-12=56 Meaning when Fox attacked, Hiruzen was 56. So I'm sure Hiruzen was in his 50's when Minato became Hokage. Not his Prime but Im sure Minato would defeat Hiruzen Prime but I don't know just my opinion.
2: Even in his prime Hiruzen wouldn't of done a good job as Minato protecting the village against the Tailed Beast Bomb let alone the Kyuubi as seen in this picture. He teleported the Bomb and the Kyuubi.
3: Fighting Tobi and the Kyuubi, Hiruzen prime or at his old age wouldn't of beat Tobi because he doesn't have FTG which he put a mark on Tobi and hit him and I don't think Tobi would let 3rd Hokage seal the 9 Tails with Tobi just standing there. No wonder they call Minato the Yellow Flash he beat Tobi 1st then proceeded to seal the 9 tails. How can Hiruzen beat a spacetime jutsu user if he doesn't have any? Tobi everything passes through him.
I know he had help from Kushina when sealing the Kyuubi.

Spoke my mind I am so sorry if i offended Hiruzen fans I just spoke my mind on this topic. I personally think Minato protected the village way better than Hiruzen or his prime could and is stronger than Hiruzen prime. Please tell me what you guys think. Nice words please. =)

So much wrong with this, I don't know where to begin.
I'm here to learn more about Naruto base helps me see more. Thank you for replying like that and not with a stupid picture or trolling. Tell me why and whats wrong with this I like to debate and want to learn from my mistakes.
You're forgetting, Minato only has to tap you to place a seal on you.I like to look at it a bit differently:
The fastest is Minato
The most versatile is Hiruzen
The one with the most sheer power is Hashirama
The best for support is Tsuande.
The best for some suiton is Tobirama.
The data book gave Hiruzen a measly 3 in speed which is comparable speed to Sakura, Tenten, Gaara and/or Temari which means old Hiruzen would get fodderized by Minato in a flash. Prime Hiruzen is difficult to evaluate because I can't tell how fast he would be.
When Itachi and Kimmimaro were near death, they were still much faster than the above examples I gave. For this reason I don't think prime Hiruzen would be fast enough to react. Saying this, however, if Hiruzen can open those celestial gates for an extended period of time than he should be able to beat Minato. If he has wind style he can just blow away the kunai.
I'll give the fight to prime Hiruzen because FTG is not impossible to counter and Hiruzen is known for having many jutsus up his sleeve.
Oh lord, this is not going to end well
All I'm going to say is that Kabuto and Iruka both said that Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage. The manga>your opinion. I don't care if it was 8-10 years ago
Also the databooks say that Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage, databooks>your opinion. I don't care that we haven't had a databook in four years now
Actually no. Iruka was merely recalling the opinion of a large amount of people. It claimed;
"He was said to be....."
Note: He was said. Not "I think Hiruzen was.....".
xdTrue but we can't confirm those fodders, I mean villagers, I mean people.
sorry but the 3rd is still consider the strongest hokage
