All I'm going to say is that Kabuto and Iruka both said that Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage. The manga>your opinion. I don't care if it was 8-10 years ago

Also the databooks say that Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage, databooks>your opinion. I don't care that we haven't had a databook in four years now

Kabuto said that Hiruzen was the strongest of the 5 nations or at least his reputation was. Iruka said that his power was said to be equal to the other Hokages.

Databook never says that he was the strongest kage.

Hiruzen was the strongest bec he knows a lot of stuff and he lived off his age. Now that's a lot of experience. And As someone who knows Naruto, chakra accumulates with experience and training.
Minato was the strongest bec for his young age, he was deemed a war hero, displayed feats that were uniquely his and gained the respect of his equals from other villages.

What puts Hiruzen above Minato is the experience he all had the Yellow Flash didn't have.
Now dare to argue that Hiruzen knows every Konoha ninjutsu/hiden. He does only if you understand the context. You're great if you get this.

• He retired at said age (56) which presented Minato with the opportunity to become Hokage.
• Minato's abilities suited the situation.
• The ABC logic which you used cannot be applied in Naruto as characters abilities suit different things. Guy > Kisame does not mean Guy is better than everyone who would lose to Kisame.

Actually no. Iruka was merely recalling the opinion of a large amount of people. It claimed;

"He was said to be....."

Note: He was said. Not "I think Hiruzen was.....".

Firstly you should realize, You can't beat the kyuubi in a 1v1 fight without either
1) Having an ability to suppress it
2)Being a master of seals
3)Sharingan to control it...

1.- My point is simple... Minato was just the perfect person to fight kyuubi because of his unique set of abilities.. He has his space time barrier allowing him to redirect the kyuubi's attacks.. and he has sealing jutsu to handle the kyuuubi itself...

2.- But using the logic that, just because hiruzen may not be able to counter kyuubi's abilities, means he can't beat minato is horrible logic.. and that's a major part of where you went wrong..

3.- When Minato was talked about by Jiraya and Tsunade, they went into detail on how he was a genius etc... but the key part to that entire convo, was when they both agreed that minato had the TALENT to become the strongest ninja ever, But he died before he could ever live up to that....

Not even Nagato could beat Kurama. And I will add Mokuton to the list to defeat Kurama.

1.- Minato had the skills to defeat Kurama. Yes, this means a lot infront other ninjas. He can use them against others.

2.- If Hiruzen cant counter Kyubi attacks, What make you think he would counter faster attacks from a faster being? It is not a horrible logic. Minato can blitz many ninjas, Hiruzen isnt the exception. Not even Hashirama. What is worst is that they dont have superior defense of peak human.

3.- Jiraiya said he was the most talented. Raikage said he was unsurpasseble and no one could beat him. Naruto said he was the strongest Hokage. Kakashi said that only Naruto could surpass Minato. Minato if he had lived more, would be much stronger not the he would be stronger than ninjas like Hiruzen.

Sure, but one cannot disregard experience that easily. And everyone has talents, further honed by experiences. There is really no stronger between Hiruzen and Minato, except in stanning and hardcore wanking.

There are only two people who can beat kurama without side effects and they aren't uzumaki they are those with blessed eyes and Hashirama Senju. Minato died against kurama that's his strongest feat. As for Hiruzen he too had the reaper seal so would at least be at the level of Minato in that aspect.
According to the data book Hiruzen knows all non kekkei genkai jutsu in konoha so he knows the fuin jutsu and all the rest. Now I rank Hiruzen very low Minato would be lower.
Jiraiyas praise means nothing he had student bias. Raikage doesn't have 2 brain cells to rub together. If Naruto can surpass Minato it doesn't say much for Minato.
