I'm not denying that the Doujutsu Part is coming from Hinata obviously Boruto inherited her Byakugan but it mutated. Anyone who has knowledge on the Basics of meiosis should know that Naruto played an important role here.

And what Momoshiki said is completely bullshit when Hagoromo passed down his own chakra between his two children and was able to even pass down his chakra to Sasuke and Naruto.

I simply interpreted his statements as mean of transfering power like the Ototsuki Clan does by eating their own clan mates.

Naruto can pass down other things but his tailed beast chakra stays within him

I wouldn't consider Kurama's Sensing ability as powerful when compared to all of Naruto's abilities. And don't forget that Momoshiki didn't even realize that Boruto possessed the Jougan he just noticed Boruto's Hyuuga Blood seconds before He vanished for good.
