4 clones VS 1000 clones makes it obvious Bolt's Uzumaki abilities are washed down.

Naruto himself was already so washed down in comparison to Kushina since she survived giving birth while suppressing 100% Kurama, having Kurama extracted, and being impaled while Naruto started dying after having 50% Kurama extracted.

Ashura and Indra had Hagoromo's chakra passed down so obviously it can, and Kurama can clearly influence the child as seen from Naruto's whiskers and his massive chakra reserves (Large even for an Uzumaki). Just because you wanna fap to the Hyuuga you shouldn't try to solely credit Hinata for Boruto's prowess.
