First of all, Nagato can easily kill Naruto with the rinnegan the only reason he lost cause his objective was to capture him not kill him, which is even very harder. The whole jiraya thing was in Naruto, which I'm pretty sure Itachi is stronger now in Shippuden.

your 3 ways of beating hidan are all things tsunade is good at.
1. crush him: tsunade has best strength out of all shinobi (stated in manga) one punch and hidan is crushed
2. decapitate him: tsunade is well skilled in medical taijutsu so im sure she could do it
3. explode him: as you said katsuya would melt him with acid (kind of like exploding)
conclusion: tsunade can beat him with overwhelming strength, skill, and intelligence
