He didn't show Sakuras family in the manga because readers wouldn't care. He believes Sakura is cute but readers disagree. Amazing....so instead of giving Sakura a deeper background, good story line, and better personality to make us want to care about her, Kishi tries to make her look prettier to increase her popularity?

Add that to the chasing the bad boy and forgiving his bull shi*t without him exerting any real effort to prove his love and commitment to you and on top of her deep level of love and devotion apparently not needing a reason.....and ....

....well.....

...I hope Kishi doesn't have any daughters.

*sigh*. Why would he do that. Why force a character that most people won't like into the main cast. Why not give actual effort into developing her backstory. Kishimoto, you've poured more than 15 years of your life into this, and I'll give you all the respect in the world for that. This is just bad writing, plain and simple.

Right....sometimes I'm like, no way this is the guy who created the series that I once loved but am still attached to based on sentiment.

He isn't a good writer. I might get hate for this but I think that if Hinata was the main heroine she wouldn't do any better than Sakura. No I'm not a Hinata hater because I met neither one of them is developed well(sadly). I also not a Sakura hater because she is my favorite character but I'm sick of some of these fans doing like Hinata and Sakura are so well developed or something along that line. Kishimoto failed with the females and he also failed with romance. He had interviewers where is stated he is bad with females and a few where is say he is bad at romance than he said he though about narusaku than naruhina, than he stated narusaku was mislead and didn't studio perriot give his a script for this movie to work around with....sounds like some bad writer type stuff. How do you stated you are bad with love but you mislead fans? I'm a NaruSaku fan but I feel that if NaruSaku would have happened it would have been the same like this with bad development.

I'll answer that. It was his editor [whose name I forget] who created the "NARUTO" we know today. Kishimoto's original idea was to make it about some kid who works at a ramen shop. But his editor, who was with him from the beginning up until the end of the Itachi pursuit arc, told him he's a ****ing idiot and suggested he write about Ninjas. His editor would even have multi-hour long debates with him in order to explain how ****ing stupid his ideas are and how he should change or alter them.

The difference between a true writer/story teller and a simple mangaka. What I would give to have his original editor back working with him to fix the latter part of the war arc.

Agree....the issue is KISHI....he would've destroyed anyone who became the heroine. Anyone he spends a lot of time on ends up being ruined.....that's why I dread him doing anything with Sasuke in part 3 other than have him appear at key moments and then disappear.....Kishi cannot be trusted to develop any character without overly wanking them and making them bland, boring, and predicatable (like Naruto), making them corny or annoying, or contradicting the story themes somehow.
