Jiraiya wins this. Comfortably.
Hebi Sasuke wasn't yet Sannin level.

If only you hadn't outright stated that Hidan>6G Gai in an attempt to support the fact that Hidan is Kage leveled, which is strength. :lol

Well endurance is a stat, its a part of ones strength. Overall Gai is stronger in a vacuum obviously but its not like Hidan's endurance dissappears when he's not fighting Gai. He has somewhat of a point there, but Hidan landing an attack on 6 Gates gai is not happening.
I know. I never said that it doesn't add anything to Hidan's power. All I said is that Hidan or anyone surviving a fight where they are easily overpowered because they can't be killed or hit doesn't make them stronger than said person.
Maybe not said person but its still a feat of strength, just like every other defense feat.

I don't know how much I agree. I think the point of Hidan's immortality jutsu is that his immortality was his strength. (Outside of his immortality he'd basically be fodder, only capable of scratching people and torturing them.) And maintaining your strength after an opponent has expended their own is still a boost to your credit.
To use an analogy if two boxers are fighting head to head and one gets exhausted in the fifth round and there are seven rounds left, you are going to call the other boxer stronger.
While I agree that Hidan won't be touching 6g guy I do think that outlasting him is huge considering the way the gates work.
Still debatable as his move-set is literally designed for him to wear the opponent out but whatever :lol
The dude could compete with Obito's V2 Jinchuuriki and attacks so fast that his punches literally creates thousands of flames nigh instantaneously through friction. Hidan wouldn't even be capable of competing with 6th Gate Gai let alone Base Gai.
:lol Hidan isn't even kage level. To be put in the kage tier, you have to at least be able to beat the weakest kage in the manga. And that is either Gaara's father or Mei. Hidan can't, so he's a high jounin.
He doesn't need gates. He's far superior in cqc. He can find something out to defeat him.
I think these guys think immortality and durability are the same thing.
Durability - The ability to withstand wear, pressure, or damage.
Immortality - The ability to live forever; eternal life.
Gai can easily damage Hidan and find plenty of ways to incapacitate him. He just can kill him.
Wrong Hidan is not just immortal he can withstand any amount of internal damage include broken bones as he heals from it instantly. He was moving with zero drawbacks with a broken spinal cord. Broken ribcage etc.
He has a healing factor.
Break a zombies spinal cord and they can't walk straight it's physically impossible. As long as its not dismemberment he laughs it off.
I wouldn't say heals from it instantly, its more like his body shows no effects simply because he is immortal in both mind and body (an immortal body being that which won't break no matter how much it is damaged) people should be able to realize this rather simply though as having a normal body while being immortal would be absolutely pointless here, as it would already be ruined with the amount of times Hidan has damaged it himself :lol not to mentio the feats in the manga.
lol @ base gai beating Hidan.
