rasenshuriken is different from a normal rasengan, rasenshuriken is when combining wind with chakra shape. combining them both gives a different jutsu, unlike the rasengan which is just chakra shape by itself.

here is an example:

1- big ball rasengan: is when adding more chakra to the normal rasengan to make it more powerful, but still the jutsu is the same.
