Madara cut his bond with Hashirama before leaving Konoha as well as cut his bonds to his clan who turned their backs to him. Madara asked Hashirama if he would kill him or Tobirama, same as when he asked Hashirama to kill himself or Tobirama, When Hashirama was going to kill himself he chose Madara in a sense but when he didn't reply to the 2nd question Madara took it as him choosing Tobirama over him even though Hashirama called him brother

If Madara didn't have to fight Hashirama at all if all he wanted was Hashirama's DNA, he could have easily lied to Hashirama saying he wants to return and help Konoha and then either surprise attack Hashirama or just ask him for some blood for a new jutsu he's developing to help the village even if it's a lie. He wanted Hashirama's DNA, that was his ultimate goal but he did not care if Hashirama was alive or dead. He went in for the kill shot here and got fooled by a wood clone

dude as i said, we have very different interpretation of manga. Sasuke told naruto that he wants to kill him and yet didn't when he got the chance. According to you madara wanted to kill hashirama since his childhood and didn't allowed hashirama to kill himself. Yes two stories are very similar. Then you say madara brought kyubi with him and sasuke hit naruto with chidori, that is because they knew their opponents weren't weak. Madara used TBBs against hashirama becasue he knew anything less won't stand a chance against hashirama, same for sasuke. sasuke knew about red chakra's power although he didn't know about kyubi at VOTE, that's why he didn't hold back. He defeated naruto and then when it was a chance to kill him, he decided to let him live on a whim?? His biggest enemy as well as threat?? heck even itachi told him that if he kills naruto, he will get MS. And even for such power sasuke couldn't bring himself to kill naruto.
And we know now that madara wanted hashirama's DNA that's why you said madara could have lied bu sasuke can't. All we know kishi could have made sasuke extract kyubi from naruto and control it. But even if sasuke can do that will he trick naruto into it?? NO he will fight him to death and if he finally wins then he will extract kyubi. Buddha = used for self-defense and to end the large scale destruction battle fast.

Bijuu dama was redirected at the Kyuubi not Madara.

His wood dragon is normal mokuton.. nothing big..

He didn't use so many techs, which he could have if he had chosen to do so.
