Hashirama never went all out?

By all out i'm not referring to simply using a single technique that we know as his "strongest" (though technically its not). By all out i'm referring to him using everything he has.

This is all my opinion:

During the clan fights, he faced Madara with an intent to not kill him.

During VOTE, if u notice he had been only countering madara.

During Edo tensei , God tree messed up the whole battle and had 4 wood clones helping out the alliance (each having the power to lead a juubi tbb ).


So , in reality we have never even seen Hashirama go all out in battle.

Well what is your opinion on this, has he gone all out or no?

Countering is a form of combat. That doesn't mean he didn't want to end it. He was just waiting for the right moment to attack.

Yea it's true. He had to juggle many things and as an edo he was still able to fight toe-to-toe with Madara while he was aiding the alliance. If they were put against each other one-on-one without him protecting the alliance then we may have seen the wooden Buddha statue make another valley.

False, he brought out the buddha, to stop the Kurama+PS combination quickly. Hell he made Madara chase him so the location there won't be damaged.

He stabbed Madara after seeing that Madara had fallen low. You can see the face change in this scan clearly, and those "flashbacks" always have a meaning. And notice that the flashbacks were about.

If Hashirama had go on all out, do you really believe he would've been able to use that wood clone like that? and finish off Madara that easily?

He could've stayed on the buddha and kept on spamming the hands.. but he didn't he got off.

I'd say that by the time of the VOTE, both Hashirama and Madara were almost equals, but Hashirama clearly had the upper hand.

And his buddha was destroyed? are you seriously that naive bro? The only thing that was destroyed in that battle was the PS. The buddha was damaged? yes.. but destroyed? hell nah. Not even close. The fight only started and ended at night. Don't think thats pretty long.

Notice, even after being all worn out, hes still talking about protecting their dreams and trying to turn Madara back into good. And then when Madara says Hashirama can't turn upon him this time (unlike the last time where Hashirama persuaded Madara to join him). Based off of that you can't really say that Hashirama had been trying to kill him the entire time..

Not to mention the range of the damage was way too big to let it stay on the field for too long. (Those mountains that were cut have 3-4 mountains between them and Kurama. Having the range to cut down mountains that have 3 mountains between them is quite huge.)

But its just my opinion.
