Another point that Masashi was making with his fusion of Madara and Hashirama, was to answer the questions of how strong the Senju are. We see Masashi explicitly showing Madara using Hashirama’s techniques. I believe Masashi showing us this, is his way of telling us why the Senju were equaled to the Uchiha. And on a side note, unless Masashi shows the fight between them, I do not think Madara had the Perfect Susano’o whilst fighting Hashirama. Masashi, before Madara activated his Perfect Susano’o, gave us a close up of Madara’s Rinnegan. I would confidently say that Madara first unlock the Rinnegan after his fight with Hashirama, whilst made Madara have a near death experience (possibly a way to unlock the Rinnegan). That being said, I think the Rinnegan is required to perform the Perfect Susano’o, if so then Hashirama only had a fight with EMS Madara, not EMS + Rinnegan Madara.

While i do respect the immense power of Madara and he is and was extremely powerful. People forget that Hasirama was even stronger. Hurting him wasn't even a possible way of killing him since he would just heal it we already know his healing prowess is way beyond what we have seen from tsunade and she isn't too bad. Add his rediculous chakra from being a senju and the man was a TANK. All he ever had to do was out last whoever he was against.

...yeah, well, you just subtract Hashirama's wood DNA, Edo Tensei regenerative ability and Rinnegan from Madara, and that is why Hashirama was able to defeat Madara.

Like it is said that yes madara did lose to the 1st and i do think if madara didnt summon the nine tails he might of won but i think madara was planning something and he decided to lose on purpose as how tobi said in that one chapter about being that he lost but he will live beyond the 1st which makes him the true winner now i dont know if tobi is madara or just a shell of madara but i dont think madara was showing everything he had with teh fight with the first and also i dont understand it how he can be this strong but yet lose to to the first what i want to no is does madara have unlimited charka with edo on? Also yes madara does have the wonderful power up with the cells but as its said madara and the first were almost even in power

Hm. With Moktun he got control over the ninetails and could he possibly have used that to get a hold of the sussano' and then beat Madara? Or maybe he used the ninetail's chakra blast (tailed beast chakra bomb) to weaken the susanoo. Maybe it is was as simple as to just outlast Madra just in time so the susano' was exhausted and then killed him.

I have this feeling that madara isn't going to dissapear because I think he might of used one of the 6paths to revive himself just a thought
