You people talking about Madara getting the first's DNA are way off and need to go back and re-read because you missed something. The Sage of 6 paths had two sons, one who received his body and one his eyes. These families are the Senju and the Uchiha, so Uchihas and Senjus share the same blood. This means in a way Naruto and Sasuke are related and it means both the senju and the uchiha clans have amazing techniques that can potentially be unlocked. This also means that if Tobi turns out to be an Uchiha this whole war is nothing more than a family fued that drug the whole world into it.

Actually yeah i do think it take 2 secs to seal the fox. Minato did it and he wasnt an uzamaki who are masters at seals. Also i never stated that i thought mito sealed the fox and controlled it just sealed it. U need to stop assuming. But i did read between the lines. Why would kushina say to start of with "naruto do you know of the fight between the 1st and madara". She couldve just stated that mito sealed the fox in her without mentioning the battle. But she specifically said during the battle. There was no need to mention it. But the fact that kushina did and followed by saying mito sealed it to better aid the 1st sounds like she took away madaras trumph card so the 1st can focus on his battle.

Assuming that physical attacks do not cause enough damage to Hashirama,
Madara could still use genjutsu.

is difficult to explain how Hashirama was considered the greatest ever.

What does seem that way madara lost in valley of the end because of
summoning the Kyuubi what eventually turned against him and caused
Madara losing a giant amount of chakra.

It really makes me wonder.. how the hell did Hashi manage to beat him? Its quite the damn feat seeing as all we've been told about hashirama is that he can throw trees and heal himself without seals. Its defiantly an incredible feat if you ask me.

Dont forget that we dont know the 1st hokages true strength. This just an assumption on your behalf

Hashirama was a force to reckoned with he controlled all the tailed beasts he was the strongest then because the senju kept the uchiha in check senju>uchiha

reason i brough up the control factor, because ur inital post made it look hasihrama used the fox against madara and since giving hasihrama a massive advantage.

But i can agree with what u said in this post, she could sealed in battle but then was useless battle wise against madara.

Another point that Masashi was making with his fusion of Madara and Hashirama, was to answer the questions of how strong the Senju are. We see Masashi explicitly showing Madara using Hashirama’s techniques. I believe Masashi showing us this, is his way of telling us why the Senju were equaled to the Uchiha. And on a side note, unless Masashi shows the fight between them, I do not think Madara had the Perfect Susano’o whilst fighting Hashirama. Masashi, before Madara activated his Perfect Susano’o, gave us a close up of Madara’s Rinnegan. I would confidently say that Madara first unlock the Rinnegan after his fight with Hashirama, whilst made Madara have a near death experience (possibly a way to unlock the Rinnegan). That being said, I think the Rinnegan is required to perform the Perfect Susano’o, if so then Hashirama only had a fight with EMS Madara, not EMS + Rinnegan Madara.
