The best hip hop artist IMO is either Tupac or NaS....both of those 2 are legendary....they both wanted to uplift the culture they were apart of (Hip Hop) and they both have quite possibly the greatest lyrics of all time...
NaS: It aint hard to tell. The quintessential classic NaS song
i used to repeat this song over and over again because the beat and the lyrics were TOO DOPE for me to just stop playing it....;)

Tupac: Old school. The quintessential classic Tupac song
This is the one tupac song that literally takes me back through time in tupacs eyes...it informs me of what i missed out on back in THE OLD SCHOOL....AKA the real "back in the days" for genuine hip hop....before it was reduced to what it is today:sy:
you just listed 2 of my top 3 favorite hip hop artist. +rep

I agree what you said about Pac and Nas.... Nas was one of the best if not the best storytellers of all time, his flow was just sick bruh
