Just wait a few more, it's not nearly at its climax. We have yet to see what Naruto and Sasuke are really capable of, and the actual origin of Kaguya and her sons.

Honestly Gai kicking ass might be mine, powerful and emotional. His youth and character is strong.

None of the last several chapters have been the best. Too many power ups without training hard to use the power. Too many holes opened in the last chapters that still need explaining.

Everything right now is simply Kishimoto rushing to finish the manga quickly. Too quickly and prematurely, IMO.

It was definitely a top notch chapter, but I wouldn't say the BEST because I feel like even better chapters are on the horizon. But what we found out this chapter was good shit.

- Ashura and his vessels have always been top dogs
- Senju reign supreme
- Black Zetsu is the ultimate puppetmaster and has been behind the scenes for all time
- Uchiha have been tools since time immemorial
- Kaguya looks really pretty when she cries, but also quite psychotic
- Naruto ripped Black Zetsu off neg diff and shot his whole story down
- Hamura has a badass design

fair enough... though when were the first mentions of Rikkudo and Kaguya? Way back in part 1? I imagine that SO6P was foreshadowed as a massively important character a long time ago. And the tale of Kaguya was at least mentioned in the earlier staged of Shippuden right?
Hm, I don't remember exactly when we first heard of Rikkudo... I think it was after the time skip. But even then, it was just a passing notion; he was just supposed to be the creator of ninjutsu and pretty much everything, as demonstrated by his mastery of both yin and yang techniques. There were talks of him creating the landscape. Jiraiya was the first one to talk in detail about him when the Ame orphans were introduced, and he did so to emphasize the mystery that was Nagato. Back when the marionette strings were much shorter lol...

But, you know what, I'll stay positive. It's not that Kaguya's story is boring; I'm excited to hear about Hamura and Hagoromo, and exactly wtf happened. It just kind of feels out of place to me when you put it in hindsight with the rest of the series. Time will tell if it all ties back neatly.

EDIT: also, I love your sig :p
