Unohana isn't beating him. Bare in mind we haven't seen Kyouraku's bankai.

Bare in mind Unohana is the 2nd strongest Shinigami and the strongest one before Yamamoto "bought" his powers, from the strongest generation of Gotei..

So yea shes stronger than Kyouraku.. and also by that logic. Shinsui > Yamamoto also..

Every one put together.

1. Yama (His bankai would defeat everyone)
2. Zaraki (He was a beast as a child, now he's back to that level, he's getting a shikai, and probably a bankai)
3. Aizen (with no hyoguku)

What would make you think Zaraki is above Yama???

Solo'd the strongest captain after yamamoto without even using shikai or bankai.

How many times did she heal him after killing him?
Few hundred?
Then Zaraki killed her, she was weakening herself over and over again healing him.

Plus, there was a gap in power between Yama and her.

Nope, it simply depends on the bankai he gets. =p. And also, its been stated that Yamamoto was afraid to train him how to fight PROPERLY. So far he only knows to fight with 2 hands.. that already doubles his strength with the sword.. lol.

No, I wasn't going to say that.
Post-Royal Realm Byakuya hasn't shown a speed feat or any feat that puts him above Shunsui.
Speed, strength, and overall shikai wise: Shunsui > Pre Royal Realm Byakuya.

Byakuya shikai is still the same post-royal realm. It's his new bankai that we need to see.

Shunsui's bankai is probably very haxed--just an assumption on my part, since Ukitake topld him not to release it where it can be seen.

Overall, Shunsui is still stronger.

Byakuya shikai is not the same do you read the manga? Asnodt thought Byakuya shikai was his bankai thats how much stronger his shikai had become an I can't see kyoraku beating Byakuya previous bankai by just useing his shikai.

An seeing how strong renji an rukia has become an knowing that Byakuya was stronger than them before they went to the royal realm I can only imagin how strong Byakuya is now I can't see shunsui beating him at the moment.
