Who are you to determine how someone is supposed to support their kids? It is not a woman's specific job to stay at home and nurture. The man could do it instead while the woman works. Or they could both work and pay for childcare.

I hate it when people act like "traditional" family structures are superior. The outcome of the child is determined by the individual lessons taught by the parents.

It's bad enough that people around us burden him trying to say you have to be the bread winner. You do need to. Big cities specifically areas like Oakland, there is great pressure just walking down the street in your neighborhood to join their gang. If these kids had a father, they most likely wouldn't live in that impoverished area and face that pressure.
