Gender roles was something created by society that has become a norm.Nothing is wrong with being non traditional. I really don't care how much the guy is making if I want a job I'll get one. I think some people are just afraid of change and think being non traditional is problem. If you like to be traditional okay but not everyone wants to.

Who is saying women can't get a job? All i'm suggesting is that the media is portraying women being dominant in relationships as a good thing and a positive thing for society. Their head is in the right place, but factually the empirical evidence suggests it is severely detrimental to society.

They believe that they weren't born a boy or girl but society brainwashed them to believe they're one gender. For that reason they think gender roles are also a social construct, completely disregarding biological differences that makes someone more suitable to a certain role.

The evidence of it's detriment is the sharp rise in divorce rates that started in the 1970's and still persist today. single mothers on average make way less than half of that of a married couple. How can you no see that being detrimental to the american family?

Are you suggesting that males aren't needed at all in raising a kid? Personally no I don't believe two women are as effective at raising a balanced kid as a man and a woman. But that is clearly subjective.

Who are you to determine how someone is supposed to support their kids? It is not a woman's specific job to stay at home and nurture. The man could do it instead while the woman works. Or they could both work and pay for childcare.
