But it was aggravated assault, the cops told him to stay in the car, had he just stayed in the car all of these could've been prevented. Zimmerman was racial profiling him, and harassing him. after what happened in 1992 in los angeles after white officers got aquitted for beating up rodney king, a CRIMINAL who RESISTED arrest, then a teenage boy getting killed will aggravate african american community unprecedentedly. now, rodney only got beat up and he was a criminal resisting arrest. a teenage boy being stalked and defending his rights but getting killed will in no way go unavenged. no justice, no peace is a saying prevalent in the african american community

But the point was that Trayvon was a child with a life ahead of him and it couldve been prevented. If Goerge stayed in his car, Trayvon didn't go to his car and beat him up, he got out his car and stalked with a weapon ,the boy until he reacted.

I'm not saying he did do it in self defense and trayvon deserved to die. But I wasn't there so idk A life was taken away and yea it's sad but you guys gotta think do you honestly think the guy woke up one day and said to himself "I'm gonna kill somebody today!" No. Something happened that caused that event I'm not saying it was justified but shit that's life people come and go everyday and mother Earth never misses them cause Y'know what they say everythign ends with a beginning one man dies and a new baby is born. And also people are so full of shit especially black people they're quick to pull out the race card for every little thing. Black teens die everyday and who are killing them? Niggas, excuse my language but that's a fact and everyone knows it those kids who die everyday aren't on the news. ...no I'm a teenage girl XD I think that he was attacked and he panicked. I dont think that he should have resorted to a gun, but he didnt do it with malicious intent he just wasnt thinking. And its just my opinion...no need to start making assumptions just based off of one post
And I didnt realize that was the case but its better that way actually. I dont think he is necessarily a murderer, but I dont think he should just be completely let off free. Again this is just my opinion. I respect that you have one and its different then mine, no need to get upset :/

i think what he meant is cases of murder happen frequently and that this case was blown a tad bit out of proportion. there are millions of people over the world who were murdered but received no justice. example: in the vietnam war during the my lai massacre where innocent men women and children were massacred only one of the soldiers was convicted and served 3 only 3 years in house arrest, 3 years for gruesome carnage. murder is wrong, but justice shouldn't pick and choose when to run its course.

Nothing was blown out of proportion, if anything things should have been taken further.

I refuse to listen to anyone who thinks this was no big deal.

I can't even phantom how people can't understand the degree of this trial! They obviously don't know history, previous cases in which a person has been convicted before for a far less severe case!
