You got a 2/5 so a 40% which I think was better than your last quiz. Doesn't mean you aren't learning, just means you don't have the gift which is fine it just means I'm more likely to abandon you after this training

Really?
It's very good to learn genjutsu from someone like you
I'm a horrible student and I'm not worthy of you as a teacher :shy:

Nope, I just need to go over layering.

We'll start with what you got wrong on the quiz.

First question, the first part is true however the second part isn't. The reason you have to put the strongest genjutsu on top is because if you placed the lower one first and then the higher one, the highest ranked jutsu would over power and neutralize the weaker genjutsu. So essentially you'd be just placing two individual genjutsu on your opponent. The quiz was really a test of that, if you were to get the first question right you'd have an easier time with the other questions, at least one of them anyway. The idea behind layering genjutsu is to have two or more active techniques fooling your opponents senses. The first genjutsu and then the second genjutsu; so two gen affecting your opponent at the same time.

OH well my bad you actually got a 2.5/5 which is still a fail but not as bad a fail as before. Your last question is fundamentally correct based on the information I just gave you, however you didn't explain why. Based on what I've said, tell me how you could've expanded the last question. What does the second jutsu being stronger have to do with why it affects the opponent over the weaker?

Oh I see, now I can answer
I would fall asleep as the second genjutsu you used which is A-ranked overpowers the first genjutsu that is B-ranked, nullifing the effect of the first one

The next issue in your test comes from the second and fourth questions. I asked you what conditions beside the rank and you just said the rank. In order for you to layer anything you need to make sure the jutsu are compatible with each other; meaning they cannot be conflicting in their nature, otherwise they will cancel each other out or merely, the strongest will take over. What it means ot be conflicting is; having a genjutsu that makes you feel peaceful and sleepy and another that makes you feel energetic and hyper or somethign along those lines. Since they would conflict they wouldn't fit coherently in unison with each other.

And lastly, it is possible for you to break multiple genjutsu at the same time. When using kai, or whatever method you decide to use to break genjutsu, if you use the appropriate amount of chakra or pain w/e to break the strongest genjutsu you can break all genjutsu of equal rank and below.

For example a layer composed of an A-rank and a B-rank. If you use A-ranked Kai, both genjutsu will be broken, understand?

Now I believe that finishes us up with the three pre-elements of this training; breaking, casting, and layering. If there's anything you think I missed or still want some clarification on let me know before we move on. Otherwise I will get into the actual training for the style and the techniques. If I told you this is a refresher. The five methods we'll be covering here are as follows:

Genjutsu Kai
Paralysis/Movement Restriction Techniques
Deceptive Techniques
Concealing Techniques
Hypnotic Techniques

If your answer is no to the question above about clarification I will take you through learning genjutsu kai and then I will let you pick from the methods of; Paralysis, Deceptive, and Concealing Techniques which section you'd like to learn first. Only after I teach you those three will I take you through the last one which is Hypnotic. So pick which method you'd like to learn first after I teach you kai.
