Chriss nods and wieves 2 hand seals, placing the clone in a genjutsu

Chriss makes his opponent see leaves swirling all around him, suddenly, the leaves all get blown away as if a great wind blew it all away. The clone would see a vision of his brother Sam "Moose" Winchester and his father John Winchester, being tortured by the demon named Lillith. Causing the clone to faint and go poof

 

[Detective L]

"Good on performance, but what about the advantages and disadvantages of the technique? And how you would use it in battle?"

Dean asks, as he crosses his arms.

 

[Cyber]

Sorry sensei, I forgot about those.

Advantages
• CAN make the opponent faint if it is used correctly
• Can be used to deliver an easy killing blow
• While it does need hand seals, at least it's only 2

Disadvantages
• Needs hand seals
• Waste of chakra if the opponent doesn't faint
• One needs to have the opponent in their sight to use it

In battle I can use a jutsu that makes me invisible and then I can easily place the target under my genjutsu. Another strategy is to throw down a smoke bomb and climb into a tree with a lot of leaves for cover, then use the jutsu after the smoke clears.

"Alright, though you don't really need to see the opponent to use it, just be within range. Here you go."

Description: The user performs two handseals causing it to appear as if a swirl of leaves surrounds the opponent. The swirl eventually falls away, and after a few seconds, the opponent sees the image of whatever they fear the most, shocking them and potentially causing them to faint.

"Now, the first C rank technique is the Kai technique, the one I told you about. The very technique that will help you break most Genjutsu, through a surge of chakra that resets your chakra flow, and brings it back to its normal state. Anyway, I want you to analyze the technique for me, give me a small paragraph about anything that you can about the technique, how you'd use it, and when you can't use it etc. Here is the scroll."

Dean says, as he throws a scroll towards Chriss.

Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

Chriss nods and does as he is asked

Let's say i'm in the Hell Viewing Genjutsu. I would have to make a hand seal to stop my chakra. (Which I would do by placing my hands directly against each other) I would then force my spiritual chakra to spike so I can break out of the D rank genjutsu. But as I am only a S-Jounin, I can only break D rank genjutsu. This can be a lot more helpful than causing harm to myself, which in the long run, can hinder my chances of winning the fight.

 

[Detective L]

"And when will you not be able to use Kai?"

 

[Cyber]

When there is a genjutsu C rank or above.

 

[Detective L]

"Read it again, there is something else. I'll give you a hint, it pertains to the type of Genjutsu used. Read carefully."

Dean says, as he looks at Chriss, waiting for him to pick up the hint.

 

[Cyber]

I took that it was kinda given that it can't break MS genjutsu. But it can't break the frog chant or paralysis genjutsu.

 

[Detective L]

"Very good, that's what I wanted you to notice. It can't break MS Genjutsu, because they are basically unbreakable, and it can't break Toad Chant and Genjutsu that causes paralysis, because you need to form a hand seal to use Kai in the first place. You can't form a hand seal when your body is paralyzed. What would you use in this case, since you can't use Kai? Just a little refresher on the breaking of Genjutsu."

 

[Cyber]

Well if memory serves. I can break the paralysis genjutsu by causing pain to myself such as stabbing my leg, breaking a bone etc. As far as I know, the only way to break MS genjutsu is with another MS or Sharingan. But I don't think there is a counter to frog chant.

 

[Detective L]

"How would you cause pain to yourself by stabbing yourself, if you are paralyzed? Yes, you can use pain, but only through something that doesn't require hand seals or movement, like causing a Stone Spike to go through your leg, or you can use a Surge technique like Chidori Nagashi, which doesn't require hand seals either. Remember that. Got any other questions?"

 

[Cyber]

Sounds good to me. I actually do have a question though it's unrelated to that technique. Is Killing Intent a ninjutsu or genjutsu?

 

[Detective L]

"It's a Ninjutsu. Anyway, good. Use Kai wisely, and don't overuse it. Sometimes its better to use a surge technique, instead of Kai."

Now, for the next technique, best used on moving targets, you will simply induce an illusion without the need for hand seals once more. This will cause the opponent to think that he is moving in a straight line, but he is actually moving in circles. A very simple, yet effective Genjutsu, best used in the NW to fool an enemy coming towards the village gates for example, or in battle, if you are creative enough. Use it against my clone."

Dean creates a clone that runs towards Chriss.

 

[Cyber]

Chriss forces his chakra into the mind of the clone. After the clone has effectively been placed in the genjutsu, Chriss stands and watches as the clone runs in circles. Chriss then throws a kunai with an explosive tag at the enemy, blowing him up.

Advantages
• No hand seals are required
• Quite funny to watch
• Pretty useful genjutsu as there are no clues that the opponent is in genjutsu. So without a sensing technique or doujutsu, it will be hard for the opponent to see they are in a genjutsu

Disadvantages
• Quite weak
• Might be hard to hit the opponent because they are running in circles
• Won't work on doujutsu users

 

[Detective L]

"I don't understand why people say that techniques won't work on Doujutsu users. It still works, they can just realize it faster. Anyway, not bad, here you go."

Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

"Now, for the next technique. This Genjutsu is initiated through physical contact, where you will cause the opponent to leak all information neededby inserting your chakra into them. Its basically an interrogation tactic. So, in order for it to work, you need to be at least two ranks higher than the target and you'd need continued physical contact whilst you interrogate said person. So find a way to constrict the opponent first, then use the technique."

Dean says, as he creates a Genin ranked clone (RP purposes, since this is the lowest it can from your rank).

 

[Cyber]

Chriss runs toward the clone, sliding under it and sweeping it's right leg all in one motion. Due to being 2 ranks above the clone, Chriss quickly ran up to the clone from behind while it was getting up. Chriss places his hand on the back of the clones head, absorbing the information about the jutsu he just used.

• Can get information fairly easy
• No hand seals, only physical contact

Disadvantages
• Opponent has to be at least 2 ranks below me
• You have to make physicap contact which can be risky

 

[Detective L]

"It doesn't absorb the information, but rather, let's the opponent speak and reveal the secrets. As in, they can't hold back, and have to say what they know. Just re-do the performance, rest was good. "

 

[Cyber]

Chriss runs toward the clone and slides under it's legs, sweeping it's right leg in the same motion. Using his superior speed, he runs in front of the clone and places his palm on it's forehead. He then tells the clone to reveal the information on the technique. After he has the information he needs, he grabs a kunai and slices the clones throat, causing it to poof.

 

[Detective L]

"That's much better. Here you go."

Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

"Now, for the next illusion. Without the need for hand seals, you will induce an illusion on the opponent. This causes them to see a fire ball descending from the sky, coming down upon them. This fireball would generate heat (within the Genjutsu) and would envelop the opponent. Even though it won't cause any damage when it envelopes the opponent, its a nice way to cause the opponent to look towards the sky whilst you perform something else that comes from beneath. Use it against my clone."
