Something like that, yeah?Chriss heard his sensei ask him about Genjutsu. He didn't have a large knowledge on the subject at hand, and was a bit embarassed that he couldn't impress his sensei. Nonetheless, Chriss would let out a large sigh, as he would then state;
"Sorry sensei, all I know about Genjustu induction is that one has to inject one's chakra into the opponent's mind. From there on, I am not too sure.."
Chriss says, with his face now a bit red due to not knowing that much.
Chriss listens intently.Let me give you a hint for future trainings, put in some effort to how your character would respond, even if you don't know anything. Unlike myself, some sensei only reply after several days, and when they only see one sentence, they might feel a bit discouraged, yeah?
Like for example, I could say the same thing as you did, with more effort, for example;
Something like that, yeah?
Dean heard his student reply, and even though he wasn't that impressed with it, he could give the student the knowledge he attained over the times.
"Its something like that, yes. Once an illusion is cast on an opponent through the use of chakra, the illusion will cause the opponent's chakra flow to be disturbed or unbalanced and thus, cause false images, sensations etc which affect the five senses. To explain it a bit better, a normal person's chakra, when not affected by an illusion, is balanced and stable. A perfect balance between spiritual and physical energies.
Now, when an illusion is induced on an opponent, their balance, is then affected and the flow is unbalanced, or scrambled. This allows the user of the illusion to mess with the opponent's five senses, like hearing, tasting, smelling, touch and sight. Do you understand the concept, or should I break it down a bit more?"
Dean asks, knowing that Genjutsu can be a bit complex sometimes.
Chriss smiles and says, Well considering Genjutsu disrupts the flow of the opponents chakra, I would probably be able to tell by my chakra or by using common sense. Like if my opponent used a genjutsu to make me believe there was water rushing at me even though there is no water source present. Either they have an extremely good mastery of Suiton or it is a genjutsu. Basically I can tell by checking my chakra flow to see if it is disrupted. If it is I can spike my chakra to break out of the genjutsu.That's better!
Dean hears Chriss ask a question about Genjutsu. He wasn't surprised, and this wouldn't be the first time, since Genjutsu was known to be extremely complex.
"It all depends on the Genjutsu that is used, some are easy to realize and break, and others require a bit more time. It also depends on the range, are close to the opponent when you use it, but we'll cover that when we get to the techniques. Genjutsu requires quite a bit of knowledge before we get into it, since you will require this knowledge in order to perform Genjutsu correctly. Genjutsu is a bit more complex than elemental techniques.
Anyway, Genjutsu usualy requires some form of a trigger to be done. This trigger can be in the form of hand seals, light, sound, eye contact etc. Remember this. Nonetheless, how would you detect that you are in a Genjutsu? How would you be able to know if I placed you in a Genjutsu right now?"
Dean asks, trying to move the training forward.
"The more the pain, the higher the rank Genjutsu the pain can break. If you understand, we'll move on to the second way of breaking Genjutsu."D Rank Genjutsu: Chipping a Finger (like one does as he bites to draw blood for a Summoning Jutsu)
