I completely agree with you, I'm really excited to see more from De Bruyne, seems to be a great youngster.Chelsea looked impressive today, especially in the first half. Im curious how Manchester City will play tomorrow but Chelsea could take the title this season (fingers crossed =D).
I think it doesn't matter if Tottenham are with Bale or not, I don't see them winning the Prem either way. They don't have enough quality in their squad.I completely agree with you, I'm really excited to see more from De Bruyne, seems to be a great youngster.
Maybe it's too early to judge, but Tottenham without Gareth didn't look like a team which can fight for the BPL title. At least for the moment, maybe later in season when the new signings get to know the rest of the team they'll play much better.
Yeah, I agree. Personally, I don't think they have the character to break into the top four; maybe just maybe they'll be able to edge Arsenal out of the fourth positionI think it doesn't matter if Tottenham are with Bale or not, I don't see them winning the Prem either way. I don't think that Spurs lack quality, they lack strong characters other than Bale that could win them games. The other big teams have at least 2 or 3 players that can take the lead of the team and win the match if needed. That usually makes the difference. Bale is that man for Tottenham and that's why he is so important. Soldado could be the other one, but I can't say for sure just from one game.I think it doesn't matter if Tottenham are with Bale or not, I don't see them winning the Prem either way. With the current situation in Arsenal, and the change of personnel and the lack of action on the transfer market from United I can see Spurs or Liverpool breaking the hegemony of the top four if they play their cards properly. It's true that both teams seem to lack the character to do that, but if they pushed they could. So, yeah, the fight in the top six this year will be interesting, and let not forget the other teams, there could always be surprises coming from some of them.Yeah, I agree. You might be right, but I don't think the change in personnel is yet to have a major effect on the team and this was evident in the Swansea game. Maybe it might be too early to jump into conclusions but I think United may finish 2nd if they fail to defend the title. With the current situation in Arsenal, and the change of personnel and the lack of action on the transfer market from United I can see Spurs or Liverpool breaking the hegemony of the top four if they play their cards properly. As a ManU fan I hope you are right, and not only keep the good games but keep the title too.You might be right, but I don't think the change in personnel is yet to have a major effect on the team and this was evident in the Swansea game. With Liverpool, I guess they will have to have Suarez back, if they want to have a top four finish:bouncy:

i liked what was De Bruyne doing U_U but imo, 2nd half was quite, eeh, it was like "hey guys, let's just chill the 2nd half"I completely agree with you, I'm really excited to see more from De Bruyne, seems to be a great youngster.

i agree with you on that completely, tho, if i was to say 1 team from BPL i am fan of it would be Arsenal so,...i hope not lolYeah, I agree. Personally, I don't think they have the character to break into the top four; maybe just maybe they'll be able to edge Arsenal out of the fourth position
sameBut I want to see what Escorpiius has to say on the topic.
Lack strong characters who can win games except bale you say, then what happened to their 30 million euro signing hit man soldado, who netted a total of 30 goals last season, and grabbed spurs the winner against crystal palace this past sunday,he is a good striker and one who can guarantee you a minimum of 20-25 goals in total for a season, which isn't bad. To be honest i think the league this season is coming down to either pellegrini or mourinho that's just my opinion, as for Liverpool reaching the top four, i seriously that such, tottenham with or without bale would be a more wiser and suitable choice.I don't think that Spurs lack quality, they lack strong characters other than Bale that could win them games. Okay, I'm not sure whether to be irritated by your lack of reading abilities or your writing abilities.Lack strong characters who can win games except bale you say, then what happened to their 30 million euro signing hit man soldado, who netted a total of 30 goals last season, and grabbed spurs the winner against crystal palace this past sunday,he is a good striker and one who can guarantee you a minimum of 20-25 goals in total for a season, which isn't bad. Yeah keep grasping for straws, you said the other big teams have about 2 to 3 players which can change the game themselves due to shear individual brilliance and win the game for the team right? I also take it the big teams you mentioned are last seasons top four who not only qualified for the champions league but who all finished above spurs right? Now heres were you fail, even the the championship winners united only had one really outstanding player last season in the person of robin van persie who not only scored 26 goals for them in the epl alone which was the most instrumental aspect to to man u title win, but also made other contribut ions to the team, now aside from him who are the other two top players man u had last seasons that could win them games, is it welbeck who only had 2 goals in more than over 25 appearances last season, or is it rooney whos form dipped so much that he could not even acheive the 25 goal mark sir alex expected from him nor could he be trusted when playing big sides such as madrid, or is it the injury plauged kagawa who had a miserable last season, tell me who? In arsenal aside from carzorla whos form dipped in the second part of the season who else is there, is it the mediocre striking duos of giroud and podolski who have never lived up to thier names nor have they filled the void which van persie left? Or is it the mediocre torres who had less than 10 goals in over 29+league apperances, or city whos main engine and driving force toure was also plauged with injuries and thus dipped in form along with aguero compared to thier epl winning sesson where they were at thier very best. Its obvious you dont pay more attention to la liga as I do, you dont get to see soldado week in week out perform at a top level for valencia, scores goals and assists and also helps in the general work play of the team, soldado like negredo are aleady established top strikers from spain capable of turning games around and scoring vital goals. He did his job which was his goal which got his team the win and the whole 3 points, and then theres paulinho, a playmaker capable of seetting up players as you saw in the confeds cup and also a goal scorer every now and then.Okay, I'm not sure whether to be irritated by your lack of reading abilities or your writing abilities.

And yes, he scored a goal, but it was a PENALTY against a championship goalie, not to be disrespectful but he should have scored at least one more goal to say that he did his job. He might be a great striker, but I can't say from that one game as his performances was of an average striker, nothing extraordinary. On the other hand, Bale sometimes creates at least one or two goal chances all by himself, something Soldado didn't seem to do. And Chadli was quite the poor replacement on the right wing, he was constantly running around with the ball but with no ideas what to do with it. At least that's what I saw.
By the way, you missed some words in the last paragraph and left confused of what exactly you meant to say.
Really? REALLY? Okay, first of all Rooney had a bad season, was played in any but his original position and he still got 12 goals and 10 assists in the league. Kagawa started the season very strongly but his injury ruined his form and still he got 6 goals. Chicharito also reached 10 goals from 20 something games most of which he came in from the bench. But the real power of United are not the players, it was the Coach that created a team in which each player was capable of changing a game. Also, RVP wasn't the sole reason United won the title, if it wasn't for Carrick United would have never done it.Yeah keep grasping for straws, you said the other big teams have about 2 to 3 players which can change the game themselves due to shear individual brilliance and win the game for the team right? My reasoning is this, all those players you mentioned specifically the players from united they are all good but they are not seen as those people who can turn around games by themselves week in week out, they are good but not that kind of player like, suarez, vanpersie, messi or ronaldo or even cavani and falcao that you know that on a whim they can create something out of nothing, you bring up a good point about carrick yes he was good arguaebly the best midfielder in the premier league last season, but like the title says "midfielder' you wont see him chasing down balls on running up the left or right flank, or shooting on every whim or opportunity he gets trying to score, its just like barcelona now take fabregas who had his best season at barca with 13 goals and 13 assists and was the second highest goal scorer only topped by messi, but he isnt that player that you can always count on to deliver week in week out as we all saw when messi was injured and he played against bayern, and even against lower placed teams in the league barca lacked that aura that driving force, that wild factor which can dazzle anyone defense as xavi and busquets didn't really have the best of seasons, now van persie is that wild factor, the one who scores late minutes goals who clinches the winner for the team at vital games like he did against chelsea and Manchester city. Jack wilshere also just returned from an injury which kept him sidelined for up to a year, and lets face it jack as of now is a shadow of the player he was some years back when he won the pfa young player award, that was when jack was jack, but now the injury got him all messed up, my point is that i feel your "2-3 players leading a team" was a bit exaggerated that's all 1 or 2 at best. I am basing all these assessments on the last season that just passed and how the players faired, if it was 2011-2012 city had like 3 players who could turn games mainly yaya, aguero, and silva, both injuries came in, yaya went off to afcon and other issues arose thats all on a normal days those are game changing players but based on last season most of those players especially aguero was a shadow of himself as he failed to hit the '30" goal mark he did in city epl winnings seasons yeah all these teams have stronger personalities than spurs but i think with spurs new addition and if the rumors are true willian and lamela are going to be on thier way to spurs too then avb would have one hell of a squad. Moving on, supercopa athletico madrid vs barca tomorrow what are you guys thoughts on that?Really? REALLY? Okay, first of all Rooney had a bad season, was played in any but his original position and he still got 12 goals and 10 assists in the league. I didn't say the top 4 teams, I said the big teams. I wouldn't put Arsenal there, but they still have Cazorla, Wilshere and Walcott. Cazorla's form wasn't so constant but he still played fairly well. Wilshere, if he could play one season through without any injuries, would prove you that he is probably one of the best midfielders in the league, Walcott although a very mediocre player had the balls to stand up and take the responsibility for the team. Something Lennon couldn't do the other day and wouldn't be able to do any other time. So yeah, a very weakened Arsenal also have stronger personalities than Spurs.
As for City I could name you at least 3-4 game changing players. Same goes for Chelsea.
I already said that I haven't seen Soldado, that I see him as a possible leader and that THE ONE game I saw from him, he seemed to be not such a great striker. Paulinho is a great midfielder, but I can't judge what will happen with him in Spurs.
I should agree here that I slightly exaggerated when I said 2-3, but it still was true that Spurs lacked the strong personalities. I actually was going to edit my post saying that they'd be having hell of a squad if Willian really did join in today and if Lamela rumours were true. But it also depends if most of the new signings will fit in well. If they don't and Spurs sell Bale they might have tough time against the top 10 teams. Yeah your right, villa is dead weight in my opinion and i think the question of him replacing falcao is not even a possibility if athletico wanted a suitable replacement they could have gone for benteke when they had the chance, and although i am a barca fan i dont see athletico having a chance of winning in this two legged fixture i may be wrong and stranger things have happened, but i seriously doubt it. Arsenal maybe a mediocre team but i think fernebache wouldn't trouble them too much, and from what i have heard they have received some goods news from thier sports medical staff, bacary and gibs trained today and might be available tomorrow, so thats good, arsenal arent a bad team they just need that it factor which van persie had and they need it in attack signing suarez or michu should resolve that? who do you think is better out of the three, suarez or van persie or cavan. I was having this debate with my cousin and he seems to be leaning towards van persie though hes a man u fan so his decision might be biased lol, what do you think? Aside from messi whos the best strike in europe at the moment?I should agree here that I slightly exaggerated when I said 2-3, but it still was true that Spurs lacked the strong personalities. Jack seemed to get back to his old self at the end of the season. There were matches that he was the only Arsenal player who did something.
And on your point about City, the thing is that City have great depth in their team, although missing defenders right now. It's sad that so many top players get benched and in the case that a player is off form or injured, a proper coach should be able to replace him. SAF had to do it more than once last season, seems like Mancini lacked the ability to do it. I fear, though, that Pelligrini would do much better.
I want to see how Athletico will do without Falcao in big games and whether Villa will be able to replace him. And I'm yet to watch Barca with Neymar!
By the way, Arsenal is playing tomorrow again, I wonder if they'll fail miserably again.
Arsenal are not bad, they just have a really bad transfer politics and huge debt because of the emirates. And right now their executive seem to be the worst businessman out there. They should have put some proper bids if they wanted to sign something.Yeah your right, villa is dead weight in my opinion and i think the question of him replacing falcao is not even a possibility if athletico wanted a suitable replacement they could have gone for benteke when they had the chance, and although i am a barca fan i dont see athletico having a chance of winning in this two legged fixture i may be wrong and stranger things have happened, but i seriously doubt it.
