^ Marquinhos ain't no failure, he's better than all Barca defender combined but Puyol, and also there is no confirmation about him moving to Barca, well i hope he's stay and emulated CAFU in his Roma days....

It's not like they didn't do it. They weren't allowed to do it. Brazil foiled their gameplan completely; like Bayern did with Barcelona. Spain got a great squad but they need to stop making same mistakes as Barcelona.

Barca's downfall has been lack of Plan B in their Possession Tactic and the dependence of Messi. Two drawbacks that Bayern exploited mercilessly. One of this flaw is trying to be remedied with Neymar.

Spain's forte is that they were never dependant on any star player but unfortunately, they also seem to a same dooming game tactic without any Plan B. Tiki-taka and Possession game remain deadly efficient. But at times, some coaches put up an anti-tiki-taka tactic and that's what Brazil did. As much as Barca can differently play otherwise and revert to a new tactic, I personally believe that Spain can.

They got a larger panel of players apart from the technical ones. The likes of Navas, Isco, Martinez Cazorla, Michu ect... can bring a different facet but it's up to Del Bosque to change tactics and rotate efficiently. If more teams fare the same tactic as Brazil and if Spain remain stubborn without changing, WC might not be very pretty for La Roja.
well, they tried, but the way Brazil went at them with so much pressure, there aren't many teams on the world that can keep pressure like that for the whole match, even Brazil couldn't keep that up the whole time, but the way that Brazil played, i liked it

it's not really that they didn't do it, they were doing it whenever they could, but that was only like 10 minutes of the whole match, maybe less than that. as i said, Brazilians kept pressure at them and even guys like Iniesta and Xavi couldn't pass as accurately as they normally do

you might be right... But Brazil was super motivated, and had the vast majority of specrtaros supporting and cheering for them... We can't say the same for spain!

But I am glad they won, can't take the merit out of them, 3-0 after all, might give some confidence, Scolari is the manager, good one, took Portugal to the Euro final and world cup semi, I just want to see a good Brazil in the world cup.
And yeah, tik-taka was very effective, but with time coaches started seeing ways of stopping it or at least deal with it... I wonder how barcelona would be if guardiola would still be there... but again he's the one that got all the merit for that playing style when it wasn't him who didn't come up with it... I guess it was Frank Riijard

Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic up and coming defender, but what I meant to say was he needs a player like Puyol beside him, so he can learn and Puyol has been hit with injuries and I don't believe it'll be good to pair him with Pique, as we can see he hasn't recovered his form yet. It'll be more pressure on him and twice the work for a young guy like him. I was more leaning towards TS who seems to be Barcelona first choice when it comes to getting a defender, he's already established, is a captain of club/country, and can bring leadership to the back line.

They did bid 25 million for him, which got rejected, but now they did up the bid to 32.

i am Barcelona fan, and i don't know much about Marquinhos, but 32M € is a bit too much, isn't it? o_O i think it would be worth adding some more money for Thiago Silva (tho PSG might not really sell him even for that :|)

Hows Jovetic still at Fiorentina? He would fit like a glove in premier league, any of the tops teams, Arsenal and Tottenham would be the best I think, or this chelsea too

Just to be sure: Did CR7 state that he wanted to stay another season with RM?
he's just being professional...

Hope he leaves

Pep is trying to steal Thiago

um, i know that Pep is my most fav trainer, but, Thiago in Bayern? i mean,...this might be a stupid question, but wasn't Thiago leaving Barcelona because he wasn't getting enough minutes IN HIS OPINION (not in mine lol ;)) so now he goes into Bayern where,...well,...it will be the same case imo, i mean, from what i know Thiago is CAM, right? so,...1 of Muller or Kroos is leaving? (unless Muller moves to Striker, i would like that tbh

I just don't understand the current board of Barcelona. They failed to keep Thiago, and now are in a war of words with Pep will probably miss out on a defender...

well i don't think they can keep thiago to begin with, the boy want to leave and that's that, but i can't believe the sell him to bayern i was like " The **** Is going on ?" when i read the news about Thiago transfer, i always though that he has MANU DNA....

i just feel bad about MANU because they've been hunting thiago since last month and now Bayern come and snatched him from them LOL.

Tough Luck Manchester United fans, atleast now cleverly can breath a sigh of relief, but really i wasn't expecting this at all up until a few days back i never knew bayern had a concrete interest in thiago, though i wish the young lad all the best and i think he will flourish in munich and improve as a player similar to how Martinez improved. Now moving away from that Rooney is looking more likely to leave Manchester united after woodland stated that club isn't in any extension or negotiations with player over contracts and that the club are not afraid to run down ones contract, after moyes had flat out implied that rooney was van persie backup and per chance rvp get injured then rooney can play, isnt all this fuss about rooney due to his lack of playing time and his contract extensions and this two statements issued out from woodland and moyes respectively suggest other wise honestly i dont see rooney contract getting renewed and he has two years left on his contract so if united does not sell him now they face losing him on a free transfer next year.

Jovetic confirmed to go Man city
Maicon confirmed to go Roma

Even tho I kinda support Man City, he'd be amazing at chelsea, arsenal or tottenham... In Man City is hard to stand out

Breaking News: Tito Vilanova will no longer continue as barcelona coach after he suffered a relapse from his cancer, the news was confirmed by sandro rossel barcelona president some minutes ago after the scheduled press conference, as a barca fan i wish tito the best and thank him for all his work and service to us and for helping us to equal the 100 points record tally.
