Arbeloa time is coming to an end at RM, especially after he found out the arrival of Carvajal. Not to mention isn't this the same club and Arbeloa who made up stories about Messi meeting him the parking lot? Yes, his words should matter after that lie. If anything he's praying Mou takes him to Chelsea.
Whatever happened between him and Casillas will come out. If Perez didn't offer Mou a respectful departures, Mou would take a nice chunk of cash with him. I find it funny all players were willing to lie down their lives for Mou in the first two season, this even caused a rifted in the Spanish national team dressing room, so I'm not surprised if Casillas stood up to Mou considering the class he was showing to Barcelona after victory and loss each game, and Mou would criticize him for shaking his opponent hand, etc. That whole Ronaldo "I'm sad" issue had to do with Mou as well supposedly.
Funny how you are ready to argue that Arbeloa is making this up due to being self-centered and keeping a grudge while on the other hand, I could accuse Casillas of the same thing. Stop taking about class and everything on Casillas. The guy's rebellion is the main cause of all this Madrid's disaster...
Mou is a sore loser, which we knew since his Porto days. Imagining how someone rebelled against him, he obviously went for the eye for an eye method. And when more criticism from media/players came onto his way, he stood by that mantra. Thereby, more chaos ensured.
This is how I see it figuratively. A hero started a fire in his own team in an act of rebellion. Someone, instead of extinguishing the fire, asked the rest of the group to walk on the fire through the path of fire. Gradually, this was viewed as tyranny. In general view, the one who asked to walk on the fire was viewed as the dictator while the original perpetrator was protected due to his status. Both are wrong but had the fire not been brewed, the rest of the events would have never occur.
Oh, well, as I said, this is very less of football talks. It's a complete Shakespearean tragic scenario and bloody good one, I must say! I could make one hell of a novel out of it, if I wanted to.
