Go Barca! Another mediocre game for us yesterday but at least we qualified. I hope that Messi's injury won't get worse now.

On a side note, am I the only one who really dislikes Fabregas? :/ The guy just cannot score and from what i have seen yesterday he doesn't seem to be able to 'communicate' in the field as he should with Xavi and Iniesta. Whenever I see him on the field I just know that there's gonna be missed chances. Then again, maybe i don't read this correctly and he's a football genius? :p
Well rumours had it he did feel a little pain after the game.

There are a few, but not much. In Fabregas defence he is a genius haven't you seen him play at Arsenal? He's come to a team were he has to compete with Messi/Xavi/Iniesta for a spot and that is no easy feat. Any other club he would've been a starter easily. Him and Pique also have been late night partying and spending time with their GF. He also has a kid on the way, so a lot of this has effect his performance. I don't know if you read the article back in Sept, but Pep made his own contract and handed it to Rosell in which money wasn't the problem, but he wanted Pique/Fabregas/Alves/Villa all sold that summer, in which our president agreed on Alves/Villa, but not Fabregas/Pique, as they're youth products.

However I did feel for Fabregas when he was being subbed off for Messi and the stadium exploded with chants for Messi.

To be honest I haven't seen much of Fabregas in Arsenal so i wouldn't know how he played there, but he has been consistently missing chances and performing monotonously in Barca for 2 years now. At least this is what I have been discussing with Jo, my friends, my family when we get together and watch the games. I have also seen some comments similar to mine here & there in football sites & forums. I don't doubt he is a good player; I am just saying that he cannot co-work as he should with the others. Maybe this constant comparison with Messi and the others has gotten the better of him, i don't know.

No, I haven't read that interview O_O Can't believe I missed it, I am gonna try to find it now. I am not surprised that Pep wanted to get rid of Pique & Alves, but Villa's name is a shock to me.

At Arsenal he had the game revolving around him and was a great player and dedicated the attack. He was pretty much their Messi/Xavi/Iniesta. I've discussed it with many friends/family as well and we've noticed he's mainly half a season player with Barcelona, but his main struggle is showing up for the big games. He actually has had great teamwork with Messi. Fabregas has 11 assists in the league and most were to Messi and most of Messi assists were to him as well, but his performances in CL have been a disappointment only one goal and no assists in 7 starts. He's kind of being forced into the squad when Vilanova/Roura would play Iniesta on the wings and Fabregas in his position, which hurt us in the second leg VS Madrid in CDR. Perhaps, but he's a professional and youth product, so I don't see how he can't cope with it this club and fans adore him, this is why he was bought, rumours have it Pep wasn't interested in bring him in not because he wasn't good, but not a position we needed him for was available. The fans and players wanted him.

This is the article here if you haven't found it yet.

Pique and him had a lot of arguments and fights in training. Pep actually made Pique run a lot of laps during training. Alves form dropped. Villa was because of the injury and his age. As it says at the bottom it was sporting matters.

Thanks for the link ^^
What is this that I read about, that he refused to shake Pep's hand? Seems improbable to be honest.

I don't know, maybe its the position he's been playing like you mentioned, but i don't know, whenever I watch the barca games I always notice his game-play and I just don't like it. Something strikes me as odd about him.

Oh well. Let's see what's gonna happen in the semifinals. I am reading now that Messi won't have any problem participating in them. I hope that the draw won't send two teams from the same country to the final. If Barca doesn't qualify I don't know how i am gonna watch it :/

Making a review about Bayern - Juventus will be useless. =P

Good job Bavarians! I knew they would win both legs! Surpirsed that they kept the clean-sheet.

Tomorrow is the Semi-finals draw. I want to see Bayern-Barca in the Final, not in the semi-finals :/.

Some predictinons:
Barcelona - Real Madrid || Borussia Dortmund - Bayern Munchen

Barcelona - Bayern Munchen || Real Madrid - Borussia Dortmund

Barcelona - Borussia Dortmund || Real Madrid - Bayern Munchen

So, we have 2 Spanish teams VS 2 German Teams! Amazing Semi-final!
As a german fan I really like to see, how Bayern and Dortmund will deal with Real and Barca!

Spain's two best clubs VS Germany's two best clubs

The UEFA CL Semi-finals draw are over! The German side vs the Spanish side. Really strong matches, which will give us a really amazing final hopefuly. I'll take a short look at these two semi-finals, reviewing the matches by looking at each team's quality and form lately.

Bayern Munchen (GER) vs Barcelona (ESP)

Bayern and Barcelona have been the best teams this session, leading at their home league. For the moment, Bayern are the best team in Europe. They have won the BundesLiga with 20 points clear comparing with Dortmund (2nd placed) and are in the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal currently and sure...favorites of winning it. Barcelona are only dominating in the spanish league. Lately they aren't having a good form and they hardly reached the semi-finals. Barcelona were better in the past years but now they aren't feeling well. Maby because other teams have become better. Who knows? Still...Bayern look favorites. They painfuly lost the final last year but this time they want the trophy no matter what!

Borussia Dortmund (GER) vs Real Madrid (ESP)

Both teams are in the 2nd place in their home leagues and both are having a good form lately. They faced each other in the group-stage but Dortmund took the points with a 2-1 win and a 2-2 draw against Real. So this match is very tricky. Real Madrid lost against Galatasaray in the 2nd leg but they still are a gret team. Dortmund also made a miracle against Malaga, scoring 2 goals in the last 2 minutes. Real look more motivated because they really want to win the CL for the 10'th time but Dortmund also, dream to be in Wembley final.

Semi-finals 1st leg & 2nd leg: 23/24 April and 30 April/1 May

Someone is biased with bayern lol. Honestly, I believe that it will be an easy match for Bayern, with barcelona they're not in top form anymore (Yes, I know i'm a real madrid fanboy and I will hate barca 5lyfe) but I honestly think it will be a Bayern Vs Real final, in which case I believe bayern would take it unless real madrid plays perfectly.

HALA MADRID and good luck to all other teams.

I'm a bavarian fan so Bayern will get the best comments. :p Chances are 60% Bayern , 40% Barcelona.

Mia-San-Mia Bayern Munchen!! good luck to every other team except Barcelona.

when Madrid faced Dortmund back then they were not a team there were internal problems but since then after the turn of the year Madrid have been consistent and a whole lot better team ! but i still don't think Madrid should underestimate Dortmund they are a great team and they have shown it we will have to work hard and concentrate ! only with that i can see Madrid in the finals along with which ever team it is Munich or Barca ! come at us bro La decime is our destiny !!!!!!!!!

OK 1 2 3 HALA MADRID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the fisrt-leg bayern victory is the point
its 2-1 in Munich and Bayern 2nd come late in the match, and then Cristiano scored 2 quick goal in Madrid before robben scored 1 from the penalty,

and in the PK shoot out both Cristiano and Kaka failed to hit the target but Iker made it even by stopping Lahm and the other guy,
and Ramos missed the next shoot which is vital since bayern only need 1 more shoot to win the match,

that's why people trolled Ramos for that ridiculous PK........
