I have one question: Why is that when a straight guy starts to like men later on in life people say that he discovered he was bi and not that he became bi, even though he had no interest in men before?

We honestly don't know how it works. It is entirely possible he discovered it, because he never thought about it before. Or maybe he was hiding it. But there is also the chance that it just developed naturally somehow, but we just don't know.

What we do know is that it isn't sonething that can be "treated". And if it can be willingly changed, it has never happened before.

You see, science has it that if something is curable through psychotherapy, it's definitely not curable through prayer.
However, psychiatrists have long agreed that homosexuality is not a mental condition, and this was further proven by research in the fields of biology and evolution.
