Tsunade high difficulty. Gated Gai is a tough opponent and will manage to land many hits on Tsunade but Tsunade's regeneration and chakra reserves will allow her to outlast Gai. Katsuyu can also be used to cushion from Gai's attacks such as Hirudora, etc.

Wish people would stop using the argument that Tsunade outlasts the gates. What even makes you think he'll need to open them!? His base speed is enough to comfortably run circles around her, whilst dodging everything she throws. Tsunade has the slowest, most unorthodox taijutsu in the manga. She won't lay a finger on him. This thread is basically Can Gai dish out enough damage?

Primary Lotus: Nothing extremely serious, Tsunade is most likely to survive.

Hidden Lotus: Probably causes moderate damage, but moderate damage isn't enough to put her down.

Asa Kujaku: Well over 100 psi per punch. If Creation Rebirth can even scale with the pure amount of force this dishes out in rapid succession then it's barely doing so.

Hirudora: Not convinced AT ALL that Creation Rebirth can even begin to save her from this one. She gets completely obliterated.

.... Gai very obviously loses. His most offensive attack causes internal bleeding.
Tsunade is not only a chakra beast but is has great durability as well as Katsuyu. Gai often scales up the power of his attacks overtime. Whereas, once Tsunade has byakugou she's good to go. Also he'll try to fight with her in base which he would end up dead doing that.

Base Gai's taijutsu and nunchaku is enough to outlast Tsunade.

To only real threat Tsunade has is Katsuyu.

Enough to outlast Tsunade when Gai doesn't have the durability to take 1 hit from her.
And when this woman did not focus on chakra conservation in a battle where A had to?
This seems a bit odd of a claim to make. No base Gai would be wrecked hard.
At 6th gate he'd beat her around a bit, but he still wouldn't outlast her. And it may be time to reacquaint yourself with Tsunade's feats

Sure! If Tsunade manages to tag Gai, he's done for. But what makes you think that Tsunade even remotely stands a chance of coming into physical contact with Gai? Even looking past speed, Gai's taijutsu expertise alone enables him to effortlessly dodge Tsunade's sluggish, predictable attacks. And to anyone who thinks Creation Rebirth lasts longer than the gates, then you may want to revisit the manga. Gai has been fighting for a VERY LONG time switching the gates on and off at his own discretion. Tsunade does not have that luxury with Creation Rebirth. Gai can very well indeed "outlast" Tsunade.

Tsunade can recover from anything Guy tosses at her. Tsunade wins.

What you're implying is purely speculation.

Nope, its fact. Byakugo will let her recover from anything Guy can throw at her. All his moves are blunt force attacks, Tsunade has already been able to recover from things much more deadly than that. His strongest move Hirudora didn't even kill Kisame and he doesn't have auto healing like Tsunade does so Tsunade will survive and recover from it.

Anything he has will be recovered from in a matter of seconds.

You keep saying that. Hirudora went against Kisame's strongest attack, won and then crippled him.

Tsunade has nothing on Kisame's gigantic shark bullet technique.

Ok? Did it kill him? No it didn't so I'm only stating a manga fact.

Great Shark Bullet isn't killing Tsunade, only a delusional fan would believe that. She takes it and then auto heals due to Byakugo.

Ok. A Hirudora that tore through Kisame's strongest technique didn't kill Akatsuki's highest-chakra'd monster. Ok.

reat Shark Bullet isn't killing Tsunade

Kisame doesn't even need it to kill Tsunade.

Why mention chakra when it has nothing to do with durability? It didn't kill someone who can't auto heal so it won't kill someone who can. Case closed.

Lmao...this guy...

Where did I ever say Kisame couldn't beat Tsunade? I simply stated a fact. GSB won't kill her.

You are missing something obvious, Kisame's attack was one that became stronger the stronger a ninjutsu it faced. since he was facing taijutsu his attack was a complete failure, it didn't do a thing. Yet Kisame survived it. I don't know if you are overestimating Gai or underestimating Tsunade. But she'll take this in the long run without a doubt.

Except that she's nowhere fast as Gai
