Why do people always include Edo Tensei since that's a technique that requires preparation and most likely wouldn't be used in a sudden battle U_U

Also, I think that whether or not he has Shukaku doesn't matter at all since he doesn't gain any signature moves from having Shukaku as far as I know.

Anyway!

Both of them are able to use huge attacks, sand tsunami vs a shitload of snakes.. I'm gonna go with victory for the current Gaara due to the things he's shown in the war.

orochimaru has sword of kusanagi which can pierce through anything...has way more battle experiences than gaara...has mastered lots of jutsus which can be used to counter gaara's sand...

one water element jutsu and gaara's sand would be so heavy...

don't take me wrong gaara is strong but its like you want to battle onyx from venusaur...he's just matched with a wrong person...

oro has devoted his LIFE to learning all jutsu. just because he hasn't used water based techniques doesn't mean he doesn't know any. orochimaru would win though. even against current gaara. kusanagi could pierce gaara's ultimate defense.
